Ironside by Iron Ron
My philosophy is simple... Lift heavy **** and put said **** down again.
Welcome to the Ironside. This is my training log.

Currently got a bit of a limited training situation with the coroneee virus going hard... So doing some unilateral training at home with some of my hex dumbbells.
Day 1:
DB Rows:
66 x 7
88 x 5
110 x 3
Hammer Curl:
45 x 7
Pinwheel Curl:
66 x 7
Alternating Curl:
55 x 7
That's it for today. Short and sweet.
I'm sure my regular routine will become clearer soon.

Re: Ironside by Iron Ron
Thanks! Glad to be here!
Day 2:
DB Floor Press:
66 x 7
88 x 5
110 x 3
-- Neutral grip to focus the triceps on this but mix it up frequently.
DB Upright Row:
66 x 8 x 2
DB Overhead Press:
66 x 8 x 2
88 x 6 x 2
Been eating like crap where I'm working from home. Other than my usual mainstays I've been supplementing this with copious amounts of beer + ice cream, not at the same time which I'm sure is a good thing.
Hoping to fix up the diet next week and try to find something more positive to do with the extra time/boredom.

Re: Ironside by Iron Ron
I've been enjoying working out from home more than I thought I would so I've been looking in to equipment. My garage space isn't the biggest, so the right equipment is going to be critical. I actually found a good garage gym guide that has some extra info on storage solutions and folding equipment. So that's given me a few ideas. I'll keep things updated and get some before/after pics of the setup when it's done. I don't want to be buying any crazy equipment yet during the lockdown and a lot of suppliers seem sold out. This is pretty typical of me to finally decide to do something at the worst possible time.
Back to the regularly scheduled programming, of log updates!

Day 8: Off
Day 9: Fun Time!!!
I decided to have some fun instead of my normal lockdown routine.
DB Farmers Walks:
110 x 4 x 2
I just considered a "rep" one time down the hall at my house and back.
Turkish Get-Ups:
45 x 8 x 2 (Kettlebell, my only one)
These always feel like crap to actually do. I don't enjoy them that much, but I enjoy knowing I'm doing them
Parallette Push-Ups:
Bodyweight x 10 x 3
I currently weigh around 210lbs which is after losing about 15lbs since the beginning of the year. I'm still actively dieting technically, no comment on how it's going. That said when I was heavier I was struggling with push-ups a lot as they were wrecking my joints. These feel a bit better currently.
