No wuckas!

I want to add a like button to posts for people like me who read and don't always have a thing to say, too... must be an extension for that.

Got asked the same during a "bulk" a month or so ago.

It's so hard not to curse people out when they say this.
It is, but also it could be worse. I've been asked several times if I've ever "considered going to the gym."

I understand that to the average person my gut is the entirety of my physique, but these delts don't grow on trees, bitch.
You need to wear booty shorts to show off them quadzZz.

Tiny Shorts and XL Shirts Brigade here.

Seriously, last year I switched all my gym shorts from 7-inch inseam to 5-inch inseam, to look like I might actually do something athletic and feel better about myself.

Also seriously, my girl’s 11-year old son recently said to me, unprompted, “I can tell you have strong arms and legs, so you don’t need to worry about your stomach.” The implication of course was that I must be worried about it, because come on look at that thing. Wanted to cry.

I’ve been wearing the same few pairs of 5” inseam shorts to workout, and if I ever wear regular gym shorts, I feel like such a DYEL douche cause you can’t see any leg muscles in them.

You might be surprised how far up I can see when I'm creeping while you're laying on the bench.

I’m alive.

Training has been very sporadic—only one leg day so far in May. I’m also juggling some other projects, and I’m still adjusting to my wife being home more. She wants to “do stuff”— yes, that kind of stuff and other kinds, which eats into my training/logging time.

I’m currently sitting in a YMCA waiting area while my son is in gymnastics class. I’d workout, but I have my daughter with me since her class is at a different time, plus other excuses.

Yeah, still gaining weight, albeit with too much drinking and junk food. My umbilicus is larger than it should be, but I’ll continue to bulk.

I will be switching to early morning training again since the kids are out of school soon.

Eta: sorry about your adductor; I hope it heals soon.
