Bench Press
110 x 7 @ 8.5
Squat
157.5 x 6 @ 9.5
5+ AMAP rep set test/deload day (85%):
* < 5 reps = +0kg TM
* 5-6 reps = +2.5kg TM
* 7-8 reps = +5kg TM
* 9+ reps = +7.5kg TM
I was surprised how well bench press went. The arm is good now and I have improved my tightness, leg drive and arch when benching. I am also dieting to lose body fat for a bit while I am not lifting as much. For that reason I am not sure if I should add 5kg to the bench press TM or 2.5kg instead to help compensate for the dieting. if I add 5kg, BP TM will be 135kg which is getting close to my 3 plate bench press goal. I am 97kg body weight at the moment and I want to get down to about 90kg then slowly bulk up while adding in more training volume.
