Maybe throw in some Front Squats at the end of your sessions?

(But, obviously, I claim on expertise here. Just thought it might be something to think about.)

I just threw in the towel and signed up with Hanley for programming...

5/14/18 (Heavy Day)
---
Body-weight: 210lbs.
Squat (Belt): 5xBar, 3x135, 2x225, 1x285, 5(1x365)
Bench: 15xBar, 15x95, 15x135, 15x145
Deadlift (Belt): 3x135, 3x225, 1x315, 1x405
Supinated Front DB Raise: 15x10, 15x20, 10x30
Cable Rows: 15xpin5, 15xpin6, 15xpin7

Felt really good today, much better recovered than last week. Squats moved pretty well, and the deadlift single wasn't the easiest 405 has ever felt, but it still felt like I had a couple more in the tank. Bicep is feeling good, I'm getting optimistic about moving into some lower bench rep ranges.

How do you feel about deficits and/or snatch grip deadlifts? Also an accessory that helped me was pause right off the floor.

Edit: nevermind, just saw that you signed up with Hanley for programming

Yeah, all of those would probably have been better than RDLs. I'm expecting good things from Hanley's programming though :)

5/28/18 (Heavy Day)
---
Body-weight: 210lbs.
Squat (Belt): 5xBar, 5x115, 3x185, 2x245, 5(5x290)
Bench: 15xBar, 15x95, 15x135, 15x150
Deadlift (Belt): 5x135, 5x205, 3x285, 5x355
Supinated Front DB Raise: 15x10, 15x20, 10x30
Cable Rows: 15xpin5, 2(15xpin7)

I got pretty distracted with my new job and haven't been training consistently. Not sure about starting programming with Hanley, but hopeful that will work out. In the mean time I'm restarting HLM. I felt the last cycle was working pretty well for squats, and I'll try to adjust my deadlift assistance for better results. I started with the weights a little low since I haven't done any significant volume in a while.
