2nd day pulling sumo.

whew.

Sumo:
3x8 255, 265, and 275
295lbs x 8 @ 9 RPE

Bench, pinky on the power ring (close grip):
65 lbs x 10, didn't feel much
75 lbs x 10, didn't feel much
85 x 10 @ 8
85 x 10 @ 8
85 x 10 @ 9

and then some accessory work for hypertrophy.

It appears that I am unclear on the purpose of a training log thread.

Oh well. Today was fun.

Front Squat, 5x45. Push Press 3x45, 8x65. Standing Military Press 8x65, 8x65. One Legged Led Press 10x70, 6x90, 70x10. Bench Press 5x115, 5x125, 5x145, 5x145, 5x145.

Tomorrow (or today) is deadlifts. I did deadlifts on Sunday and they were le fail but maybe I was sick.

Weights in Pounds

Today I started working on my front squat, unexpectedly.

Squats (w/o belt)
185x5, 225x5, 245x5 @ 8, 245x5 @ 9, 235 x 5 @ 9

I was pretty happy with this. This gives me an e1RM for the beltless squat over 300 lbs. That would be pretty good.

Standing Military

The benches were taken, so I stayed in the rack.

Felt pretty gassed after the squats, so just 2x5x95 here.

Bench Press

Benches still taken, so I benched in the rack, which forced me to super arch. Idk how people do it.

I pulled out my slingshot and did 2x5x135.

Writing this all out, it seems like I cut off sets because the session was wearing me down.

But then inexplicably I started doing front squats?

And did 85x6 and felt like "okay I'm done."

- Good squats
- Definitely not enough volume on bench or OHP. But I was le tired?
- Sure yea keep practicing front squat technique.
