One more week in this program after this one. Well there's a deload and test/meet week but that doesn't really count. Should probably start thinking about what to do next.

Low Pin Squat
315*1
305*3
289*3

TnG Bench
275*1
240*6
220*6
220*11

WG Bench
220*8*2
210*8*2

Thinking about going to a closer grip on bench for a while after the test week. Right now normal grip is index just inside the ring. Probably go to ring finger on the rings for a bit.

Double post but I just realised this.

Low fatigue and super sub max training doesn't work for me. Because I am lazy. You have to put everything into those lighter reps/set but I just can't be bothered. I think I really need that top set @9 to keep me honest.

Its a personal failing that I could probably fix if I tried but I don't care.

And we're finished. I finally completed a program, sort of. I changed a few things but tried to keep in the spirit of what was written. Like I tried sled drags as my Tuesday accessory because I wanted keep the leg work and do some conditioning but it kept raining, used chains instead of a slingshot and beltless deadlifts as a main for the first two blocks because I can't pull more than three reps with a belt on without getting in a messed up position. Though that may have changed. I am sore, tired and ready for that last week deload. Though I don't think I'll do the test at the end.

There's like 16 weeks left in the year so I think I'll just run this again and test at the end of the year. But next run I'm actually going to do the split squats the first block calls for but I don't know about leg press in the second. Maybe leg extensions. Going to do GPP sessions from the start since the rowing and arm work seems to help.

In the goal thread I said I wanted a 500/315/500 sbd and at the time it didn't seem that crazy though it kind of was but I spent six months faffing about and actually dieting (don't ask how that's been going in the last couple weeks) so of course those numbers fell off a cliff. Current e1rms are 465/303/425, basically where I started at the beginning of the year. Bench might be in the cards. Maybe, not going to hold my breath.

Also wanted to lose 150lbs, a 225 press and a 135 strict curl but lets not talk about that. They say if you shoot for the moon and miss you'll hit the stars but that assumes you don't explode on the launch pad.

Pause Deadlift
300*1
Tried 285 for a back off twice. First time couldn't break it off the floor the second just barely got past my knees. Scrapped the rest and SLDLs.

The weekend is the devil. Because it's two days of my mind tempting me to do dumb shit with my training. Like "hey do you reeaally need that deload?" "You know what would be cool? A pivot block, lets do some snatches." "You've never tried Baker's KSC program lets do that." "Okay we'll do the deload but let's keep the heavy singles."

Shut up shut up shut up

Instead of over thinking it I'm going to just take the first block's exercises and do three sets of five with 60% of last e1rm. Dropping most of the assistance. Might do some unloaded B. Split Squats tomorrow just for practice.

Deload over. I made a stink about super submax work forgetting the first block and a half of this program does that for the main lifts. Anyway I started using TRAC on RTS' site two weeks ago and it's telling me to add a set to everything today.

Things are going great! Which is why I just got home from the ER.

A large piece of equipment I was working around fell off some blocks. I managed to jerk my leg a way but it scraped down the front of it. Peeled the skin off from the knee to the ankle. Blood and globs of fat everywhere. Luckily I managed not to go into shock and pass out and made it to the hospital.

Double luckily the flap was still attached at the bottom so 45 staples later I'm back home with my leg skin.

Well I think might take a break for a bit maybe till they pull the staples out in two weeks.

Still getting light headed from blood loss so I'm going to eat to burst and sleep for 12 hours.

I checked your log specifically to ask how things were panning out with the hurricane, but, shit, you've always got something going on.

Hope everything improves, man.

Thanks for checking on me. I live in WPB near the east coast so all we got was a bunch of rain Tuesday and a lot of wind last night.

I'm sure ill be back into the swing of things in a couple weeks. They got me on a ton of antibiotics and like I said the doctor with the stapler wants me back soon to take the staples out.

Good news! I got the staples out a week early!

Bad news! Because the skin got an infection and they had to do surgery!

Good news! The infection apparently didn't get to my bone and I'm not going to die or lose my leg! I also got lit on a ton of fentanyl and dilaudid when I woke up. They got like three bags of different IV antibiotics on me right now.

"Can I get something for pain?"
Regular Nurse "ehh I don't know I'd have fill out paper work want some Tylenol?"
OR Nurse "hells yeah. Feel it yet? Have some more we got the good stuff."

I'm back.

Got out of the hospital Friday. Gave me prescriptions for targeted antibiotics and blood pressure meds. Apparently 130/80 average is a bit high. There's a giant hole in my leg but it doesn't really hurt at all now. Hopefully that fixes itself. Probably should keep lower body exercises to just like walking for a while. Kind of tired all the time from laying in bed for two weeks. Hopefully that also fixes itself.
