Meanwhile a resident crossfitter has turned up with a young lady and is 'training' her. Luckily she is better at the stuff than he is. Seriously his version of an air squat is to stand with feet a yard apart and bob up and down rapidly making not one squat. His bar squats (back to the J hooks, naturally) are just as bad.

Interrupted by wondering if someone was cooking soup. Checked self, nope clean, looked suspiciously at the guy in the corner doing press ups, hmmm, then the woman doing lateral raises left and the problem went away. then she came back covered in perfume, it did not disguise the probem. the temptation to yell "there's a @£$@£ing shower right there, get in it or I will forcibly scrub you" was almost overwhelming.

Had to wait for a bench. Saw the worst display of training your significant other, ever. Some gobby idiot set the poor woman up with the J hooks about six inches up. He worked out the problem when he had a go and did some isolated half reps. Oddly, he appeared to have the safeties set, yet lowered the bar so far up his body that eh couldn't complete the rep. The woman quit and did stuff with machines.

Well, I'm all at sea now. My "programme" has pretty much fallen apart at the seams and now I've got to factor in a bank holiday on a week when I am working on the weekend. I planned to split my day 1 over Tues/Wed, but seem to have messed that up.

Also all the really annoying people were in tonight. Daft kids talking about their PRs and plans for rest days, some stupid old bat taking the 2.5s off my rack mid set rather than walking to the next, empty! rack @£%@%£ing old @£%$h.
