Press 165x5
Opinions on my press? Do I need to get under it quicker when reps get tougher?

Kinda hard to tell what's happening the bar with relation to your elbows, your body, etc. from this angle. Maybe a side angle next time? Gotta lock out and shrug a little harder, I think.

You should try to get back under as soon as you can.

Re: Press 165x5
Couldn't see video. Just piggy backing on previous two comments. So if this does not apply to you then ignore me. Ignoring me in general is good advice. I won't be offended.
I started doing all of my volume pressing strict military with my heels together based on discussion on this board. The strict press greatly reduces the amount of hip movement and the resulting lay back I could achieve. Forcing a more upright back through the entire movement.
I noticed two things happened that are mentioned in the above two comments. 1) I had to get back under the bar as quickly as possible to push the weight up and 2) I had to shrug hard once the bar got over my head to finish the movement. I feel this directly carrys over to my Press 1.5 when I do my lower rep, high intensity work.

This weight looks pretty light for you, to be honest. But when you do get to heavier weight, you might find that pushing your head through sooner will help you lock it out faster.

These look pretty good to me. Only things I see are that you are inconsistent with how hard you lock out - - the first one in particular is a little soft - - and you wait a little too long to get back under on the final rep.
