Re: Pioneer sale
First time in months that I've been out of town and of course mine gets delivered today. Looking forward to a belt that will actually "break in".

How stiff is their gun belt? I need a new one, but I prefer gun belts that are really stiff.Allentown wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2017 5:00 am My wife just asked me today to give her the details for the Pioneer gun/work belt I want, and if I ever figured out if the sale was just for the base price and didn't cover options.
I was like "dude, that sale ended a few weeks ago, and so did Xmas delivery."

Re: Re:
I got one for my dad last Xmas, but I don't remember exactly. I'm pretty sure it was 6.5mm of the same leather they use in their belts. So not "maximum stiffness" you could get by sandwiching a layer of that junk they use in a Bob's Belt/Inzer, but I don't know that I could fold it with my hand. I'll see my dad tonight, and he'll probably be wearing it, because he's worn it every day since I got it for him, but I probably won't ask him how stiff his belt is, because that's weird.

Re: Pioneer sale
I emailed Matt and asked him. He said you can request the belt to be up to 6mm thick.

Re: Re:
I have one. Its definitely stiffer than a regular belt, but its not as stiff as this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001T ... UTF8&psc=1
Mine's not 6mm thick though, so if you get that option, I'm sure it would be stiff enough.

Re: Pioneer sale
I own one of those, but I outgrew it. It's a great belt, but I'm trying to find a decent replacement that costs less money...Jay870 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2017 5:22 am Gun belts? Best I've seen or used: https://www.thebeltman.net/collections/gunbelts
