This looks pretty easy to make. I'm sure you could swap out salmon if you're looking for a change.

ETA: I guess this is technically a food and drink topic.

I don't know. It was supposed to be shitposting but got moved. I guess anything is a dip as long as you have something to dip it in.

No worries I'll save this thread man...

Trigger warning: None of my suggestions will be compatible with anyone trying to lose weight or be jacked in any way. But they will get you super fat watching football...

1 package of cream cheese
1 small container of sour cream
1 package of ranch seasoning/dressing mix
1-2 cups of cheddar cheese
Chopped bacon (don't use fake shit)
Chopped green onion (if you want)

Mix it all up... boom... loaded baked potato dip.

Eat it with waffle fries...

Augeleven’s AlwaysFail Black Bean Dip

1. put a bag of black beans and an entire can of chipotles in adobo in the instapot
2. Fold laundry
3. Forget you were cooking
4. Remember after the beans were sitting the instapot for an hour longer than necessary
5. Add Greek yogurt
6. Stir until smooth
7. Use overcooked pork chops to dip
8. Promise yourself that next time you’ll pay closer attention in the kitchen.

Is there such as a thing as NON-overcooked pork chops?? I cooked some in the crock pot this weekend. Literally the only thing I've ever cooked in a crock pot that didn't come out moist. Fatty as fuck, but the meat is dry and chewy.

I still hate pork chops. Always have, always will. They're so damn cheap though.

Step up to ribeye chops... thick cut preferably...

When it comes to pork I'm more about grilling whole tenderloins now...

Pork chops typically have 0 marbling. And people almost always overcook them because it looks kind of like chicken. Pork chops should be 145. More than that and they are dry.
Also, I like glazes. Real maple syrup and blackberries on pork chops are awesome.
Sous vide pork chops are really good too.

Any meat that needs fruit to taste good is out. I'm not sure what sous vide is, nor do I want to pretend I do by googling it.

Then do a low heat wet smoke with cherry wood. Coarse salt and pepper both sides. Again, it's done at 145. Awesome.

I made boneless pork chops last night.
On my electric stovetop.
Super hot pan, 3-5 minutes on first side 1-3 on second.
I don’t have a thermometer and am generally hungry, so one of the chops is the sacrificial taste-tester. I shoot for between medium rare and medium. Anybody complaining they are undercooked, I slice em up, and sautée them in the pan after deglazing. Instant food hero. The FDA lowered recommended pork temps, so I think we’re all just overcooking out of superstitious fear.
Also - fuck apple sauce. My MiL pre-emptively smothered a chop in apple sauce once. In my Walter Smitty mind, I snatched it away from her and threw it in the trash. Then I put on my jet pack and flew out the window.

Ok so I’m full on triggered...
Look how pink 145 is. That is what you want. @Allentown is right on about this.
If I cooked you a well done steak, you would have every right to call the cops. It’s a crime.
A well done pork chop is a crime.

Chops smoked on apple wood, seared, topped with baked apple slices dusted with cinnamon.

Baked apple slices? Or are you smoking the slices with the meat?

Above Quoted =100000(MiL dumps an entire lunch pack sized fridge-cold Mott’s on her dinner)
It’s like taking a nice steak and covering it in ketchup.
An impeachable offense

No, I like granny smith apple slices in the oven at 375 until they are soft-ish. Or 415? I can't remember. You don't want them to dry out.
But I really prefer mashing up some blackberries really good, then simmering down a mix of maple syrup and butter with the mashed up blackberries.

applesaucefruit on anything meat is weird.

A well done steak is at least in the range of food palatable and suitable for humans. I like my steak rare enough that it can still be cut and chewed.

Well done pork chops are not for human consumption
