Following Big Loz on youtube to get most my updates, as raging as everyone else there isn't a livestream sorted yet for this event lol.

Very cool to see Pritchett and especially Mark Felix and Terry Hollands topping groups even if it's early ish days.
Novikov looks scary, Luke R isn't doing as well as expected yet but I think he's going to be terrifying next year.

I’m pulling for Shaw for sure, I’m not sure how much longer he plans on competing so it would be great to see him get another.

I’m curious to see where the sport goes after he retires. There are a lot of new guys coming up that I’m excited to continue watching.

Thanks to YouTube all of these guys have their own channels now and you really get to know them and makes you want to pull for them.

Singleton has withdrawn. Looks like the finalists will be:

Pritchett
Faires
Novikov
Caron
Shaw
Richardson
Bishop
Stoltman (Tom)
Hicks
and 1 TBD

Told you it was gonna be a shakeup hahaha

All I've heard says Novikov is the one to be reckoned with, but I'm also hearing Pritchett is doing really really well...

Also this is the coolest thing to come to WSM in a while... I hope smaller strongman shows take notice...

I just saw a video said he either tore his peck or bicep. That sucks.

I'm going BS for a 5th win (fingers crossed)

Aivars is the last of that list, beat Hollands on stones. Sad to see Hollands not make final after a really strong start.
Singleton withdrawing meant Bishop (4th) got to go against Mikhael on stones and knocked him out.. Bit crazy.

Having only watch odd bits it's hard to tell if novikov is holding back for the finals, Shaw is never ever a write off either... But based on just the events so far Pritchett looks the best. Opening finals with a farmers - yoke should suit him nicely too.

Feel like Tom Stoltman might be the wildcard chance for a podium.

I don't get why they won't live stream? I think they could make some $$ even sell access like a PPV. I would pay 40 ish bucks to stream all the events.

Tom Stoltman won the keg toss, think a few called that.
Caron was only 0.25s slower though. That's gotta sting.
Shaw in third.

Tom is now 4th I think, and Shaw 6th

Edit, after coming last in the Hercules Tom came out huge and won the log.
Caron did the exact opposite and went from 1st on Hercules to last on log

Shaw Classic day one is pretty worth the $9 sign up...

He doesn't have the bandwidth to do a live stream but having it in an edited down hour long video package is actually pretty sweet...

I know Shaw donate the prize money to the other competitors and I appreciate that he organized this himself. However did you find it cheesy that he organized all the events, picked the weights and then won 1st place?

I think he should have maybe just refereed or done commentating. Comes off to me as a ego boost for him IMO.
