OR move to a State where you can gun down a prostitute with an AR-15 in a public street for taking your money and running.
I don't feel like you guys do this gun thing right.

My dad's truck got stolen out of our driveway while we were home and I heard someone moving around in the backyard (I was walking to the shed at like 2:30AM and it's fucking dark back there) around the same time this happened lol......
Apparently another house down the street got hit a little before that as well
So not the end of the world really, but it's pretty fucking distressing and I think there are other, ancillary reasons why I should start becoming acquainted with firearms that I don't want to really go into
In Texas ... it woulda been blast away my son

lolz at this quote (from the
murderer guy just trying to retrieve his stolen property)
"I've been in a mental prison the past four years of my life. I have nightmares. If I see guns on TV where people are getting killed, I change the channel," he added.

I've gone down the AR rabbit hole the last two years. What started as one build to scratch the itch has turned into 4 builds, each successive build with better components than the last, and a fifth in process.
Latest build is going to be an 18" SPR with a Criterion barrel, ADM billet upper and lower, and Trijicon Credo 1-8x28. I'll be curious to see how this shoots compared to by current 16" REECE build with a Rosco barrel, M4E1 Upper, and Swampfox Arrowhead 1-10x24. That gun shoots 1-1.5 MOA all day with match ammo on 9 shot groups.

Would be about $1700+ over budget and over the shelf neutered so... doesn't really light my fire in any significant way...

I'd go for the 90/22, b/c it's a P90 for fun at 1/10th the cost and without the Tax Stamp or Idiotic Barrel choice.
As far as non-10/22 bullups: They may be the future, but the CS player in me says Steyr Aug or nothing. Since they are outrageously expensive for a semi auto toy, nothing. That said, the Tavor-7 is very intriguing.

Yeaaaaah how do you think I got started looking at the 10/22 conversions? Hadn't built one in a long time and I finally caved last year, and here we are...

My wife agreed with you last night...
Not gonna lie I signed up for updates on that Desert Tech though... short as shit with my barrel and if I want it to be a truck gun around here it would be 'kosher'...

Looking to upgrade my EDC from the P365 to either the P365XL with optics or an EMP4. I want the optics. Zombie headshots just don't happen. But the 1911 platform is just sexy. Help!

Look at it this way: You handle it every day. You shoot it a couple times a month. You will, statistically, use it on 0.0001 bad guys in your lifetime.
Get the sexy one.

EMP4, have a gunsmith remove the rear sight plate and mount compatible optics plate.

Obvious choice is obvious. Sexy for the win.
