I'll give it a shot and this is 100% how... pretty sure I can find some of the thicker bands around the plant somewhere...
They used to put rubber bands around the hinges on prehung doors, which is what I used to for this as part of my rehab of a micro tears to the ulnar tendon. Wrist Plate curls helped too, particularly reverse ones. They put plastic covers on the hinges now instead, but I'm sure there's a decent rubber band on something that you could find.

Good.

Now the trick is getting those finger extensions done at work without drawing stares.

Just keep your hands in your pockets while doing them.

Edit and rewritten:

How dumb to focus on just rowing (C2/indoor), distance running, and pull-ups as fitness goals while cutting? (I’d do some bare minimal DL/SQ work, METCONs, and a little bench/OHP, but nothing at all optimal)

Honestly I think I could do it in a meeting and no one would even ask...

Depending on whether or not your hands are visible, that could make things worse...

@mouse I did DB wrist curls that were angled in towards the ulnar side (which was the side where my elbow hurt). I'll have to look up the video from my PT, but it was part of a full program for it and I thought it was the most useful movement.

Do you guys actually read each others logs, or do the logs scream into space, echoing like an immense tomb?

I read this comment, typed up a response, realized it added very little to the convo, then deleted it. That is also my approach to interacting with logs most of the time.

I barely read my own log.

I honestly only read a handful of logs on here with Renascent's probably being my favorite just because the topics veer off into talking about problems in daily life that I relate to. My log is probably like reading a textbook for fun so I doubt anyone reads it.

Absolutely.

I'm always amused when I take a few days off and return to find that a hundred people or so have seemingly read something I logged. Barring life interferences, my routine rarely changes, and I usually chase goals in cruise control, so I always wonder who'd read it and why.

As lehman906 said, I barely read my own. Always been that way. I've always felt odd or self-conscious about going back and reexamining my own words, especially after shedding a particular mindset like an old skin. This goes as far back as my LiveJournal days as a yoot.

This makes it a little difficult when I actually want to find a load progression from a particular period in time; end up having to read more of my own shit than I care to, just to find the last time I did pullovers or some shit. Since I strongly prefer typing over writing, I've never kept a physical copy of a training log.

Training logs are the meat and potatoes of my internet perusals these days. Might even say that I look forward to reading them on a daily basis when time permits, especially when training-related discussions are sparse. It's interesting to see how people with similar strength levels approach their goals or emphasize certain movements in their training. Also helpful to get an idea of how stronger lifters program their stuff.

And the "musings" are always worth it, in my opinion. Interesting how seemingly unrelated observations can influence one's mindset during a given training day or block. I've even got a few favorite logs from lifters who no longer post that I still find to be useful for some of the training notes left between sessions (Mkgillman, chromoly, Idlehands -- even DirtyRed)...

I started the log to keep track of what I did. I have a general plan of what I'm going to do, but it isn't written down and it's easier to maintain a log somewhere electronic. Paper books tend to get screwed up, especially in humid climates, and I would have to lug it around and keep track of it when I travel. Sometimes I need to go back and see what is nect in the rotation based on when I last did it, and it's also good to know what weight I should be using for a given accessory. I read some of the others to glean ideas, and because sometimes that's where the best training discussion is actually going on. Plus, most people like to get a nice "Atta boy" once in a while when something went well, and I like to be a bright spot in someone's day when I can be.

I prefer to handwrite, but began keeping my log here because I more so prefer to not have to carry around one more damn thing (a notebook). I haven’t regretted the switch; it’s easier to find / review prior material here (although the end result usually ranges from bafflement to depression).

I regularly follow Hanley’s log because it’s educational, Renascent’s because his musings on both training and life are interesting, Hector’s and KarlM’s because they’re nice guys who inexplicably read and commented in my log and I enjoy following their progress, and walterkurda’s because it’s an interesting and easy read, and I’m rooting for him to reach his goal. I check out Hardartery’s from time to time too for fun.

Anterior pelvic tilt: is it actually fixable?

Googling this turns up some claims that it can be fixed with certain stretches and exercises but I have not seen any before and after photos confirming it. I'm leaning to the shortened hip flexors theory but idk.

And fwiw I disagree with BBM's scientistic claim that it's not a thing. Whether it has any importance beyond aesthetics I don't know.

I think we all used to interact more in the logs. Less now. I don’t know why.

I have a handful of logs I 100% follow. Even if I haven’t commented in weeks, I’m still following along.

My own log is “dear diary” therapy where I can spew out my thoughts in real time.

Also, @Renascent let me know your eBook about muscle imbalances and mobility deficits drops.

Now that I think about it I actually follow over 10 different logs. Maybe more. I should get better at commenting, I think.

I read a few logs. Mostly people who are doing things that I can relate to. So, people who do the Olympic lifts, or who do or try metcons, or are of similar size or age.

I have an online training log that goes back a full decade, but it's not public.
