Wouldn't surprise me if we hear about SSFG recruiting from army bases soon

Then they can funnel the graduatesright into getting VA small business loans to start new affiliated gyms. More gubnent money for ass guard.mbasic wrote: ↑Mon Sep 19, 2022 6:44 am IDK .... the GI Bill thing .... man initially, from their POV, that seems great on the surface.
But, if a person is relying on that 'funding' stream ... IDK, seems sketch. Sorry.
I would think they would MUCH RATHER the type of person to be able enough, willing, and committed enough to self-fund their own SS-coach-education.
I mean, we bitch about how expensive it is.....but that is comparing their way (cost) to just getting some other generic certifications and going to work for a globo-gym, school, or starting up on your own. i.e. that SSCert ain't THAT expensive. Is it worth it? no, not IMO ....unless you are a hardcore koolaide drinker and going in neck deep to the cult.
IOW: that minimal financial barrier to entry has some up sides to quality of people you are recruiting. Maybe, maybe not.
I think they(SS) are more giddy about fleecing some $ out of the gov't, than then are about recruiting good the best coaches.
You could buy 2 T2 racks, 2 decent bars, and have a little left for plates.mgil wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 3:12 pm https://texasstrengthsystems.com/collec ... power-rack
The rack is over $1500 now. Good deal.
Think I've seen these on FB market twice now.mgil wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 3:12 pm https://texasstrengthsystems.com/collec ... power-rack

" (does not fit a bench/platform or riser needed) "
Or an RML3, flat bench, OPB.Philbert wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 7:07 pmYou could buy 2 T2 racks, 2 decent bars, and have a little left for plates.mgil wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 3:12 pm https://texasstrengthsystems.com/collec ... power-rack

I have one of those. Far from aging gracefully with the owner, this thing will outlive me, my children, cockroaches, the heat death of the universe, and Keith Richards.Allentown wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 2:21 pmOr an RML3, flat bench, OPB.Philbert wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 7:07 pmYou could buy 2 T2 racks, 2 decent bars, and have a little left for plates.mgil wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 3:12 pm https://texasstrengthsystems.com/collec ... power-rack

Man, I forgot how junky that SS rack thing looks.
Because it sounds more manly than "Orthopedic shoes for flaccid racists with bodies like melting candles."
I'm guessing because Justin is making them and Justin is a boot company.
But those shoes don't cover the ankles. And probably shouldn't, I guess, considering their intended purpose.SnakePlissken wrote: ↑Thu Oct 13, 2022 11:31 amI'm guessing because Justin is making them and Justin is a boot company.
