Not a true PR but pretty stoked with 235@8 bench today.

Was going to go for a real PR after that but my 4 year old joined me and I don't like doing really heavy stuff I can't control with him running around.

Pretty decent BW PR. BW is 178, pretty sure previous PR below 180 was 230@9.5. And was capped at 225 for like the last year. Think I'm going to go for a rep PR with 2 plates next (225x5 is the goal). Did 205x5@8.5 as a backoff so seems actually attainable for the first time ever.

Thanks! I have high hopes now that I've found a way to make progress with comp bench only once a week. My shoulders don't love 3x/wk. Weighted dips and Neutral Grip cambered (ElitFTS) in the other two slots though seems to work just as well if not better with muuuuch happier shoulders.

165kg/ 364lb trapbar squeadlift! Modest by most standards but almost 'grown up' weights! There was a time I thought I'd never crack 300lbs

Managed to hit all-time PRs on S/B/RDL after finishing 21 weeks of ATS RTF after cutting for 8 months (lost 8kg) and having the most stressful period of my life (became a parent, with big complications - now all's fine though). I'm embarrassed to put up my numbers as they are strongly at beginner levels even after 2 years of working out, but I have come to terms that this is the genetic hand I was dealt with and I'm fine with this, mostly. At least I look much better than when I started!

I had made 2022 goals way back a year ago and I haven't hit any of them yet mainly because of life and experimenting with a lot of lifts. One I think I can hit before Christmas though is a 300lb bench. Just did my first 5x5 with 225 today and it was pretty easy.

Managed to hit 180kg x1 with the Slingshot. I have a big goal of eventually getting a 182.5kg/400lbs raw bench press, so this is a nice step in that direction.

After stagnating in the press for years, I'm starting to see some progress. My 'competition lift' is the press 2.0 and I hit 162.5 for 5x5 last monday, and this weekend I PR'd my strict press, no belt for 185 x 1 @ 9 at a BW of 190 +/- Hoping to cross the 200 threshold in the next 6 months, but we'll see.

Hit 424lbs DL for a smooth 4 reps.
Have never even tried a triple with that.
Could have done 6 today, but called it out of an abundance of caution.
Back has been feeling really good lately.
Of all the times for me to manage to not record something though.
Got the stupid double after recorded.

Two more sessions before the meet
485 single today, and again next week.
5 plates scheduled for last pull.

Got two bench PRs, a dip PR, and pressed a weight I haven't done for more than 1 rep in like 6 years this week.

221x4 paused close grip, 216x5 comp bench, 66x5 dips, and 150x3@8 press

Some highlights from my last 3 months or so of training. Hit 2 DL PR’s with lifts I have never focused on. I have generally just deadlifted conventionally. I tried some conjugate style programming for the first time. Lower body lifts responded well. Bench went backwards. I enjoyed the contrast of lifting fast and quick, and maximally. I surprisingly also enjoyed the bodybuilding/pump work.

@cgeorgiev, that’s sweet - BW press is really rare these days.

@Wilhelm, looking strong af. Good luck at the meet!

@ChasingCurls69, awesome, I remember a few months ago your bench was pissing you off so that’s a cool turnaround.

@MikeMullany, that deficit DL was really something.
