Attaching pics?

I'm having trouble attaching pics, tried to drag over but get the message picture is too big?
I resized again and get the same for a 300kb file.

I’m glad that someone asked about this. I used to attach pics regularly, but a year or so ago began getting a message that the board had reached its capacity or something - i.e. no more attachments, regardless of size. Can something be done about that? One can still use an image hosting site, but it’s far more time consuming when the attach button is right there.
