Deadlift:
252.5kg x1 ----- PR!!
220kg x3
220kg x3
220kg x3
220kg x3
220kg x3
Wide Grip RDL:
140kg x10 --- PR
140kg x10
Ab Wheel:
BW x10
BW x10
BW x10
Banded Monster Walks:
band x2mins
band x2mins
band x2mins
Had decent sleep last night and felt pretty good this morning. Decided that since 245kg moved ok last time, that I would chip my 1RM PR. AND I BLOODY GOT IT! It moved roughly the same as 245kg did last time.
This was probably the best deadlift session Ive ever had.... ever. Managed a new 1RM (took nearly 2 years) while unpeaked as part of a training session, with more in the tank, followed by a volume PR with 220kg 5x3, and then a 10RM PR on wide grip RDLs. Deadlifts seems to be loving the every-other-week approach.

@DCR and @MarkKO thanks guys!
Twice a week is going amazingly well. Heavy Upper, Heavy Lower and maybe an extra 3rd day.

140kg x4
140kg x4
Feet Up Bench Press:
102.5kg x10

Pull Ups:
BW x10
BW x10
BW x10
Triceps Skullcrushers:
35kg x lots
35kg x lots
35kg x lots
A bit of a "meh" day. The top single with 165kg was very hard, much harder than expected which is a bit dissapointing. However, the sets with 140kg moved ok, last set was tough. I am pretty confident that 5x5 with 140kg will be there when I try it in two week though.

A bit of an ok day. 220kg still feels pretty heavy, but its moving around the same as before. Managed to get the 6x4 with 180kg. I was pretty cooked by the end of this.
I think once I get all the 5x5 goals im aiming for, ill deload and then do a test.
Im also thinking about training later in the year. Im only doing 9-10 sets of bench per week, and 8-9 sets of squats OR deadlifts per week. Im wondering about bumping up the frequency, perhaps splitting that volume across two SBD days.

Re: Houzi Training Log
Going to play devil's advocate here and ask why change when things seem to be working well.

Re: Houzi Training Log
It wouldnt be for ages yet, if I even do it. More just to do something different and Im curious if the same volume spread weekly would feel better.
My other idea bouncing around is to do the 10RM program I did before, that was fun too...
For now though, ill stick with what im doing.
