Re: Who does maintenance between cuts?
Everyday i upload to my youtube and to IG, and that takes a decent bit of time.
I also started a lifting Discord after modding on a different one for over two years, so i post there in our lifting clips channel too.
I check in here every once in a while still though.

Re: Who does maintenance between cuts?
Been hitting 16 calories per pound body weight for a while now. 2,850
Stable at 178lbs AM weight.
Meet is December 8th, so the weights are ramping up, and i'll think more about any weight reduction (if needed for DOTS) later.

@Wilhelm I will not insult you by saying you look good "for your age," as your physique is enviable for any age. But you definitely give me hope and inspiration for my own future.

Re: Who does maintenance between cuts?
Seal rows doing their thang.
63 in a month.
I was doing 2,850 calories for a stretch as i was doing high(er) rep/high volume rows, but now i'm on 2,600 cals per day until December.
That's 15 calories per lb for 174lbs, and i am 177 AM weight now.
So not really a cut per se, just getting into range for meet week weight manipulation, and maximizing DOTS while staying fed to support the strength work.
Doing sets of 4 now for the rows (191lbs currently) and progressing by adding sets rather than reps.
Start at 5 sets, and progress to 12, add weight and start over.

Re: Who does maintenance between cuts?
Dropped to 2,400 calories 12 days ago (from 2,500)
Been 174lbs am weight 4 days running now.
"Ghost cut."
I don't expect to drop much more weight wise, and plan on staying at 2,400 through both the next meets
Dec 8th and March 29th
After that, it's the slimmest surplus I can dial in.
12 week off season planned, then training into the next meet.
Looking at 2025 winter meet being a little heavier, closer to the top of -82.5kg class, then trimming down for the State meet (March) where DOTS actually matter.

@Wilhelm, absolute beast mode!
I'm really enjoying your summarising updates, especially with the....khmmm... "illustrations"
At half your age and probably twice the bf%, it's a huge inspiration!

Re: Who does maintenance between cuts?
Thanks.
I'm "bulking" now, but only up to near the top of -82.5kg class
Done with DOTS until at least my 65th bday, or until i PR my best total from the higher weight class.
Just working on building my total again.
Feels good.
Haven't looked at a DOTS calculator since before my Dec 8th meet.
I am a little softer looking now though, the price we pay lol
