Might be a time to run some template. Just pick something that seems appealing, so that you’ll know exactly what you’re up to each time in and can get past this sense of being adrift. If you like it, great. If you don’t, you’ll be no worse off than you are now and probably will have settled on some other idea of your own in the meantime.
