The Cheap Whey Thread

What's a carb? A car part? What's a macro? A type of camera lens?

I always buy the 'Impact' stuff too, which was what was heavily discounted, though admittedly I'm happy purchasing whey concentrate rather than isolate. Fortunately everything's been agreeable with me digestion-wise.
I appear to be a bit confused, I meant isolate - I presume it wasn't on sale at £55 for 5kg?

Ehh. They don't name names or at least I couldn't find any on clean label project's site. Just companies that paid for certification.

Not that I doubt a lot of manufacturers barely meet safety standards but they'll have to actually call people out if they want me to worry.

Same - the paper says that the names are on the website but, if that’s true, I can’t find them.

Looks like Clean Label snookered a "reporter" at Axios to do a hack scare piece for them. Does any legitimate testing organization report only on those products that pay for certification?

Axios and several other outlets, but no, obviously. Once I realized that they’d flat lied about providing all of the information on their site, I regretted sharing the story. I have to admit that it played right into my preconceived notion that nearly everything produced by the supplement industry is a scam.
