Halfthor wins Trial by Timber, Moose second, Stoltman third, Hatton 4th. Which gives Hooper a bigger lead over Hatton and tightens the space between Halfthor and Hatton.

Carrisquillo won on the women's side, which I think moves her to first.

Weird event but I'd want someone to copy it at the amateur level lol

Carrasquillo wins the Women's, Olga L 2nd, Jardine 3rd. Andrea Thomspon tore a bicep on the Timber Trial and did not do the last event which dropped her to fourth. Women's Stone to Shoulder options were 300 lbs and 250 lbs. # women got the 300 Olga and Jardine got 2 reps each. Maybe half the field scratched on the event.

I've done a Stone to Shoulder, the Timber Trial actually looks pretty good. I'd give it a go.

Mitch wins, in the least surprising result in years. He needed one rep with the big stone and did two just to make sure. That tied his "Just enough to win" effort with Stoltman's everything on Stones of all things. Andrade got 4, which was nuts. Mitchell got robbed, he got credited with two but should have been given three and he actually shouldered it 4 times.

So, Hooper 1st, Hatton 2nd, Halfthor 3rd.

Bobby Thompson did not do the event, he has a leg injury following Timber Trial and was hobbling around.
The heavy stone was 405 lbs, the light was 350 lbs.

Second year in a row that I've enjoyed the women's competition more than the men's. Maybe it's just me, but the men's side seems to just be a matter of who comes second and third while watching either of the Stoltmans underperform and Bobby Thompson struggle on anything that isn't a deadlift, log or some kind of barbell press.

I get the impression Carasquillo is going to become the dominant force in the women's with Jardine pulling alongside her in a couple of years if she doesn't get hurt.

Bearing in mind, I know jack shit about strongman.
