To practice getting into and maintaining the position of massive lumbar hyperextension required of 3.0, I have clients lean waaaaay fucking backward and push the prowler that way. Somewhat unrelated, but I found out about this place by reading between the lines on the Other forum. I was wondering if it was just me feeling uncomfortable over there. I rarely posted anyway. I still follow Andy and Jordan's presence, but I'm encouraged to see so many consistent quality posters migrated. Interesting times....

No. Even the lightest squat variations should contribute to hip and knee extensor hypertrophy or strength (or improve isometric bracing of the trunk).
I’d guess the prowler does none of those things for someone with more than 3-4 months of lifting experience.

For example:
Load ~80% 1RM

Three minutes
