Yeah. I know Titan's gotten a lot better over the last year or two, but I'm still going with Rogue for my stuff.
Yeah, outfitting a gym where insurance is a requirement, I’d opt for a better manufacturer.

Yeah I got one too and used it on the rack at my gym with metal j-hooks, and the clearcoat just scraped right off like nothing.
That’s crazy. The Edge Fitness SSB paint has held up pretty well.

Here are pics of my (well worn) J hooks and the bar where it rests in them.

Yeah, the clear coat is a terrible choice for a barbell finish. I expected it to flake based on reviews I had read so I wasn't really surprised, but it was still a little disappointing that it happened basically on my first set with the bar.
