Press - 185x5x5 (strictish)

CGB (beltless) - 245x6x3/245x5

245 may have been a bit of an over shot lol. SMOKED first two sets. Third set ended in a grind so slow I thought I miscounted and did 7. 5th rep slowed WAYYYYY down on the last set, 6 wasn't gonna be there so I didn't bother grinding for a miss. My bench is finicky like that.

Close grip always seems to die out suddenly for me too. My sets usually go from RPE 7 to 10 in 1 rep.

Bench in general for me seems to do that.

Hook grip slipped on me third deadlift set, that sucked lol.

Had some clients at the gym today but all they wanted to do was bench...

Pinch Grip - R/L 70x1

Bench felt like garbage today, too fast and loose, accidentally cut fourth rep @290 short. Hopefully it comes back soon even if I hate it.

Got them commies though finally, so maybe my grip is coming back after all. Now to get them for more then a split second lol

CGB - 245x6/250x6/240x6x2

Almost boned myself on that last set lol. I've been focused on keeping my time between sets around 5 mind or under, for reasons, but I may might have cut it too short because the first three sets moved so well. Last set did that weird rep 5 was @7 but rep 6 was @9.5 lol

Edit: just got pointed out that I loaded 240 instead of the planned 235 on the last two sets like a dunce

May have had some sort of breakthrough with setting my back... may. Managed to keep my EMOM ya know... EMOM up to round 8 today before I needed to take on another 10-15 seconds... progress!

No training today.

Wife popped out a 6 pound test tube baby at 3 am today. Delivery went well, kid is doing well, some minor complications with the wife that held up recovery but with a little luck we will be home tonight. New mom and dad are holding up well despite the general lack of sleep lol...
