Just came off one of the worst illnesses of my life. On antibiotics, couldn't eat hard food for about a day so I'm feeling week, but it's nice weather so I'm doing a taster session.

I'm skipping the rest of the Candito program. I was having fun with it, but I've missed a big chunk of it and my work capacity/top end suffered a lot getting that sinus infection. I wanted to do Jacked and Tan 2.0 and I think I'm going to throw some things together to figure out what I'm going to do. Going to be gone for a 3 day weekend at the end of the month so that will probably dictate the start point.

Candito 6 Week got hit by lots of hiccups when I only had a few weeks left. No reason to try rebuilding back up just to do a short peak so I'm going back to comfort food type lifting. After watching the Bromley interview with Cody Lefever I got looking into Jacked and Tan 2.0 which is basically a straight linear periodization using a method very similar to Bromley's base building techniques and 2/3 method so I decided to hybridize the two into my own program. Props to both because I know this kind of programming works flawlessly unless you get real sick in the middle of it. Here goes first day...

What's your setup for these? Seated clamshells or is the band anchored around a post or something?

I sit on my bench and take a band, throw my right leg inside the band, then go over the left leg and back under, then put the right foot through the loop. It makes the bands have 2 parts that are parallel and 2 that cross like an X. Then bring all the bands up right around my knees.
I guess they're how you do seated clamshells with a long band.
