I was looking at the elitefts wrist wraps, and I was wondering why the longest ones are only 800cm, when you can legally have 1m wrist wraps?Hamburgerfan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2017 9:28 pm Ended up going with the elitefts normal wrist wraps. I've always liked their knee wraps and the product description summed up what I was looking for. I'll post an update when I get a chance to train with them.

Re: Wrist wraps
Yes, the wrist wraps. I've gotten the Red, the Normal, and the Enforcer. The Velcro comes off the wrap, I've had one pop open while benching because the Velcro stopped gripping, the elastic wears out, etc. Actually never had a thumb loop come off. Either way, I'd recommend against spending more than $15 on any of the EFS brand ones, and probably buying a backup set.Hamburgerfan wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 6:11 pm A few pairs of wrist wraps? Where did it fall apart? The thumb loop stitching?

EFS ones are great until the velcro loses strength.

Re: Wrist wraps
Normals are okay, not great. I like the material, but I'm used to the left and right wraps being interchangeable. Between that and the poor durability people have warned me of, I'll probably go elsewhere for my next pair of wrist wraps. Still love their knee wraps though.

Re: Wrist wraps
I ended up buying the former and thus far I can't complain, though I don't have anything to compare them to.unruhschuh wrote: ↑Thu Sep 28, 2017 5:31 am What about the Inzer Wrist Wrap Z or the Inzer Gripper Wrist Wraps. Would the be stiffer/stiff enough?

FWIW, I have the 18" white series. Nothing else to compare them to, but my overall impression is...they're ok. Should have just picked up a pair from pioneer.unruhschuh wrote: ↑Thu Sep 28, 2017 4:57 amThanks! I didn't even realize they were different. Re: Wrist wraps
I have never used wrist wraps, and got the Pioneer Phantoms about 2 weeks ago. I used Cody's video (first page of this thread) to figure out how tf to put them on, and ended up liking the behind the wrist method. I got the 24". I'm not benching a lot, around 200lbs. Thoughts as a wrap noob, on my first pair:
First, just wow, I think the amount of support surprised me even more than the amount of support I got from a real leather belt surprised me. I can cut off my circulation and my wrist will not move, or I can wrap them a bit lighter and it still pretty much won't move, but my hand doesn't turn yellow. I tend to go with the latter, though I will crank them down a bit more for singles. The guy that runs my gym and has totaled 1800+ at 198 with a mid 500s bench commented that they seemed very stiff and well made. I think he usually recommends SBD.

I'm going to try this next. I imagine I'll go back to the behind the wrist method because I like the bit of extra higher support, but the loop around my thumb does feel a little weird when gripping the bar - there's no knurling where my hand still wants there to be some. Hasn't had any real effect though.Cody wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2017 7:44 am I showed my training partner the 3rd way to use that wrap, which is to run the end of the wrap through the elastic sort of like a lasso. Slip your wrist inside and proceed to wrap.
This way sits just a little lower on the wrist, but if you want the entire wrap stacked on top of itself instead of spiraled like I prefer, it works really well.

Re: Wrist wraps
Glad you like them! You can always pop the thumb loop off after you finish wrapping. I've done it both ways, leaving it on and taking the loop off. Neither really makes a difference to me, but some feds require you to have no loop on your thumb.cgeorg wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2017 7:03 pm I'm going to try this next. Re: Wrist wraps
It seemed like popping the loop off with the around-the-back-of-wrist method would be difficult and wear out the elastic? It only feels a little odd getting my grip set because I pivot around that area getting the bulldog grip set. Once the bar is in my hands I don't notice it.

Just ordered some Titan Max Rpms from lifting large. They are on sale right now.
I like people saying the velcro lasts well, and Izzy liked them.

Elitefts normal wrist wraps are starting to show signs of wear. A bit disappointing as they make my all time favorite knee wraps. Guess it's time to research another pair.

I am 25% sure I warned you that the EFS wraps last < a year of somewhat consistent use. It might have been in Egypt. It also might have been after you bought them. It also might have been someone else.Hamburgerfan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2018 8:36 pm Elitefts normal wrist wraps are starting to show signs of wear. Do it. Had them a year an a half now, and still in great shape.

Re: Wrist wraps
My Titan Max RPMs just came in the mail.
So much support. I had no idea.
I only got them in the 24" length, but i don't see them as being in any way inadequate for the weights i'm likely to be benching for a good while to come.

Re: Wrist wraps
Does anyone with the Pioneer wraps remember what the lead time was like? I left my old ones somewhere in the Midwest.
I emailed Matt, but it’s the weekend and I’m an impatient child.

Pretty quick, maybe a week last time I ordered? Couple folks have more recent orders than me though.BostonRugger wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2018 8:49 am Does anyone with the Pioneer wraps remember what the lead time was like? I left my old ones somewhere in the Midwest.

They shipped out my Phantom wraps in about 2 business days with purple stitching and that’s with me bugging them about the strap orientation.BostonRugger wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2018 8:49 am Does anyone with the Pioneer wraps remember what the lead time was like? Re: Wrist wraps
@Cody @mgil thanks.
By “strap orientation,” do you just mean the belt loop vs. traditional thumb loop? I was going to try that out and see if I like it.
