Powerlifter lifts Jeep off a guy after an accident. Right guy, in the right place, at the right time!
I think we can all agree the real hero is this sign:

Edit: Looks like dude has a 2200# total...

@broseph, this is why I don't drive a Jeep.
They tend to roll over, and there just aren't that many people with a 2000-lb powerlifting total on hand to rescue me.

What is even worse, that no one is really talking about, is after the warrant was served on those Nigerian brothers, the police leave a schedule of items they seized. Yeah, they took a bunch of material that could or could not be related to the alleged beat down attack....

But they also took some magazines, stamps, and pills.

I didn't hear about this until now, but about a week before the street attack "someone" sent a death thread letter to the set of Empire, addressed to Smolette with some white powder in it, return address MAGA, and scripted in cutout letters from various maganizes.
Turns out the powder was crushed up aspirin.

Now (or I guess always) the FBI is/was involved because federal crime (post office) ....maybe (faux) terrorism & hate crime, etc.
This ain't going to good.

Smollett should be placed on suicide watch IMO.

Now they're saying that he did in fact pay the Nigerians to stage the attack. And he's refusing to come in for additional questioning. It ain't looking good for him...

It's pretty shameful that a guy who wants to say Trump is tearing the country apart would stage a crime with the sole purpose of dividing the country.

now its even funnier:

Media repeated say: "Police looking for Smolette's motive to fake the attacks"
Like no one can postulate the motive.

Now, some stuff is circulating in the media that Smolette may have done this because the lack of outrage and/or lack or response to
the hate-letter (white-powder) that was sent to the Empire set some weeks proir.
.....to stir up the shit to further the investigation and/or public outrage...
....or something.

But, what if the letter was a hoax also?

Black civil rights quasi-leaders calling for Smolette to be prosecuted to the Nth degree.

That police press conference sorta elludes to the idea that Smollett was involved with the white-powder-letter weeks proir.....that's the way I took it

Something to note here is that the police reports all said that they were investigating an alleged attack. They never once confirmed he was actually attacked but the media ran with it and reported that he was the victim of a hate crime, not allegedly.

I can't wait until progressives wake up and see they are being played hard by the media and big corporations. It's the same with the Gillette ad. They are using a political stance to sell cheap wares and the people who believe in that message should be the ones calling them out the loudest.

Even jucier is that Smollet was pictured at a time's up rally with Kamal Harris who used his attack as a way to justify an anti-lynching bill being passed. Now the president of time's up suddenly resigned and one of the head prosecutors recused herself, also a friend of Harris'. Seems this may go higher than Jussie.

Shallow lake? Fell out of the back of a pickup that was hauling rocks when they spotted a frozen lake and wanted to hoon around?

What, her clothes?

or her air-head answer, unable to comprehend what the judge is getting at about with regards to her release/bond? (without speaking about the case itself).
In her defense, seems like her state appt'd attorney should be there,
or at least, would have a chance to explain things to her over the phone ahead of time about her bond hearing.

and I wonder how its works IRL.
If anyone has tracked stats on this stuff?

Guy teacher screws 17 y.o. girl student---> gets The Book thrown at him; 2-3 years jail time.
Girl teacher screws 17 y.o. boy student---> ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 90 days + a bunch of probationary stuff.

Guy teacher screws 17 y.o. boy student---> 6-7 years, shit hits fan, etc
Girl teacher tribbs 17 y.o girl student ---> 2-3 years jail time

Its probably not fair on several different levels.

In general people seem to find it difficult to think that men and boys can be raped. The idea seems to be that the boys must be willing participants. Admittedly, I have that same reaction. But the point of statutory rape laws was to declare willing participation as non exculpatory. . . . Here's a fun study (from 1988) on reactions to stories about people being forced to engage in oral sex at gun point. They varied the sexes into 4 different scenarios. The subjects thought that the male victims would have derived more pleasure and that the female defendants deserved lesser sentence. . . . Men seem to be at a disadvantage here. The way it plays out plausibly a form of discrimination against men.

The NYPost loves reporting on this stuff. The NYTimes published a story claiming that it was part of some RW counter narrative, as if any thing calling attention to the fact that men and boys can be victims of rape etc is reactionary. . . . Here are a few articles:

Nicely reinforcing smu's point.

A reasonably good looking young teacher had an affair with a 16/17yo student at my old school recently. There was a lot of that sort of "ha, he must have been King of the playground" stuff. Poor guy tried repeatedly to kill himself. She got 15 months

Changed means ruined for the worse ...
The victim actually might be worse off in this case IMO
because the perv teacher is good looking was my point....(rather than the average/homely ones).

The other teacher doesn't seem very remorseful or bothered that she's been arrested. She might be better off being exacuted. I'm gonna guess she's not gonna be rehabbed.or.a.productive member of society.....ever.

Yep. That sounds like she got off easy.
Most times the pervs prey on kids that have personal problems or have "issues" to begin with....makes it even more sorta "premeditated" in a way....not some star crossed lovers born at the wrong time thing.
