Enjoyable day...I've listed one the BNPP's as a Failure but only as I was testing how far I could go without the usual shoulder twinge (which I usually push through anyway) -further than normal was the answer. :)

Fine session today til I passed the fuck out on Front Rack Holds...I went down like a sack of shit and the bar and plates went everywhere - it was pretty damned spectacular on CCTV Replay, even if I do say so myself :) ...My guess is the bar rolled on me (it wasn't heavy otherwise) but I was pretty knackered by that point so, with a moment's inattention on my part...up to that point it had been my standard very solid session, so I'm still pretty damned pleased with the whole lot...

Right now my right lower back is pretty tight so I will see if it loosens off sufficiently for play tomorrow - my guess is something else will start hurting as well so I'll just play it by ear (shrugs)...

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 17 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Press: 10 doubles (02:00)
FSWO & 20-ct Hold: single (02:00)
FSWO & Fall the Fuck Backwards: single (02:00)

93.3kg, 76 minutes or so...

Middle of my back was pretty painful and my head didn't feel great but I'm far too stupid to have thought of something better to do today...

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 17 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Press: 10 doubles (02:00)
Squat (20-ct Pause) / Fronts (20-ct Pause): 2 singles / 2 singles (02:00)
Snatch Balance: 5 singles
Plate Hammers throughout...

Cracker of a session...we had a drop of rain overnight and I felt much more comfortable with the fresher weather...returned to Front Rack Holds as I'll be fucked if I'm gonna let *that* get in my head...

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 17 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 10 doubles (02:00)
FSWO & 20-ct Hold: 6 singles (02:00)
SQWO & 20-ct Hold: 4 singles (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause) / Fronts (20-ct Pause): 2 singles / 2 singles (02:00)
GM's: 3 sets of 6 (02:00)
Squats: Double
Plate Hammers throughout...

93.4kg, 104 minutes...back still sore but less so, some slight light-heartedness but no more than usual...

More rain overnight (which was great) but it did exacerbate a crunchy right knee...really pleased with today's work, more progress on just about every front here...

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 17 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 6 doubles, 2 singles, 2 doubles (02:00)
FSWO & 20-ct Hold: 6 singles (02:00)
SQWO & 20-ct Hold: 4 singles (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause) / Fronts (20-ct Pause): 2 singles / 2 singles (02:00)

93.7kg, 104 minutes...right knee seemed to largely fix itself o'ernight, as it generally does - did make extra sure I was as symmetrical as I can be though.

Was a bit sick yesterday but even so I felt surprisingly unrecovered here...just one of those days where you "Ooh" and "Aah" a lot just getting out of bed...Lifting was predictably solid enough of course...

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 17 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 2 triples, 8 doubles (02:00)
FSWO & 20-ct Hold: 4 singles (02:00)
FSLO & 20-ct Hold: 2 singles (02:00)
SQWO & 20-ct Hold: 4 singles (02:00)
Squat (20-ct Pause) / Front (20-ct Pause): 2 singles / 2 singles (02:00)
Snatch Balance: 9 singles
Plate Hammers throughout..

93.7kg, 107 minutes...after my right knee bitching the other day my left knee decided to play up overnight...loosened off pretty well though. Meh.

Bit of a strange one today...I accepted an invitation for Coffee from a Friend during my usual Gym time so I didn't start until about 2.5 hours later than usual and I allowed this to get inside my head a little...despite having a cracking session I really didn't feel like I'd achieved anything at all...bit weird that, but quite me.

We did have a bit of a change in the weather overnight - gonna be a hot and sticky week - and perhaps that helped, but after a rough few days my knees felt pretty awesome here - good enough that I nudged up my Front Squats again, anyways...

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 17 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 4 triples, 6 doubles (02:00)
FSWO & 20-ct Hold: 6 singles (02:00)
SQWO & 20-ct Hold: 4 singles (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause): 3 singles (02:00)

93.6kg, 98 minutes...as mentioned, hot and bothered but feel OK structurally...guts are still a bit fucked though...

Solid session but far too fucking hot...

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 17 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 4 triples, 6 doubles (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause): 3 singles (02:00)
GM: 3 sets of 6 (02:00)

93.2kg, 84 minutes...guts are still playing up (Meds certainly don't like the heat) but again feeling solid structurally...

Another day when I didn't feel as though I'd recovered properly overnight - sick again yesterday afternoon and evening - and so this was pretty rough, at least in the beginning...eventually I felt like I loosened off enough to move properly even if it felt pretty shite, weights moved nicely though they felt *heavy* just taking them out of the rack...

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 17 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 4 triples, 6 doubles (02:00)
FSWO & 20-ct Hold: 6 singles (02:00)
SQWO & 20-ct Hold: 4 singles (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause): 3 singles (02:00)
Snatch Balance: 6 singles
Plate Hammers throughout...

93.3kg, 106 minutes...where I fell over last week and bruised my back it seems to be taking a while for all of the bruising to come out - small of my back was particularly painful despite most of the rest of it having healed fine...

Hope you feel better soon!

Is a "cracker of a session" good or bad?

Were I a sensible man I probably wouldn't have bothered today - feel like crap - but I wanted to be able to say I trained on what might be the hottest ever day in the UK, so I did..

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 17 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 4 triples, 6 doubles (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause): 3 singles (02:00(
Snatch-Grip BNP: 3 sets of 6, triple

93.4kg, 86 minutes...still being sick yesterday and my hips have really been playing me up so this was just pretty grim from start - to - finish (and thus, unfortunately perhaps, all the more enjoyable for being so...)

Meh.

I just about managed to get through yesterday without chundering all over the place and that (along with a considerable drop in temperature - like about 10 degrees Centigrade) led to me feeling quite a bit better this morning (though not 100%) and happily I was able to get in a much more satisfactory workout...I had some legs today and the bar was moving well..

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 17 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 4 triples, 6 doubles (02:00)
FSWO & 20-ct Hold: 6 singles (02:00)
SQWO & 20-ct Hold: 4 singles (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause): 3 singles (02:00)
Snatch-Grip BNP: set of 6, 3 sets of 4...
Snatch Balance (Pause at Bottom): single
Plate Hammers throughout...

Sick again yesterday (guts were off again) so I felt particularly sore, tired and way under-recovered in the acute sense this morning (on top of all the other fatigue I may have mentioned :) ) but again this was excellent work overall.

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 17 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 2 sets of 4, 2 triples, 4 doubles, 2 singles (02:00)
FSWO & 20-ct Hold: 6 singles (02:00)
SQWO & 20-ct Hold: 4 singles (02:00)
FSLO: 2 doubles (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause): 3 singles (02:00)
Snatch-Grip BNP: set of 4
Snatch Balance / GM: 2 singles / 2 triples
Plate Hammers as per...

93.4kg, 106 minutes...as above not feeling great anywhere but my left hip felt a lot more normal...just need to get rid of this lingering tightness around the bruise on my spine (non-technical description)...
