I like mocha with peanut butter cup ice cream. Or strawberry with vanilla ice cream, which is usually the only ice cream we can keep around the house that will still be there next time I want ice cream.

Re: myprotein sale
GAINS for extra 15% off today. Can be pretty good if what you want is on sale to begin with.
Impact whey isolate, unflavored, 8.8lb pouch worked out to $5.41 per pound after sale and discount.
It's also coming with a free 2lb of salted carmel impact whey. Doesn't sound that good to me, but I'll give it a try.

I gave the salted caramel a try and will buy again. Passable in water and really good in milk.SpinyNorman wrote: ↑Wed Jun 06, 2018 6:53 am It's also coming with a free 2lb of salted carmel impact whey. Doesn't sound that good to me, but I'll give it a try.

Re: myprotein sale
Thanks for the heads up! I checked yesterday and with the "35% off" thing it was still $76 for 11lbs of Chocolate Smooth Isolate. I still have a decent amount left so I figured I'd wait for a 4th of July sale. Saw your post, checked again, and it was down to $68 with the discount. Added a 2.2lb bag of Rocky Road to get my order over $80 and they threw in the free 2.2lbs of Salted Caramel. So I ended up with 15.4lbs for $87 shipped, which comes out to $5.65/lb. Should be set for a while, and I've wanted to try some of their other flavors.SpinyNorman wrote: ↑Wed Jun 06, 2018 6:53 amGAINS for extra 15% off today. Also, since this post:
I have been watching their sales whenever I get an email and I have realized that you can't just go by the % discount because they apparently change the base price fairly often and there are frequently multiple layers of discounts so the only way to tell if it's actually a good deal is to add it to your cart and enter the discount codes to see what the final price comes out to be. I'm doubtful that it's ever actually been down to the price suggested in my quote.TimK wrote: ↑Wed Mar 28, 2018 3:44 pm Just got 11lbs of Chocolate Smooth Isolate for $69.74 (25% off). $6.34/lb, not bad but looking back through my emails from them I see that I am in fact a chump.
I searched my gmail for "myprotein" and looked through all of their recent promos. The 35% off deals are pretty frequent, and every now and then they do 40% off if you order $80 or more, which if I bought two or more 11lb bags would bring the price down to $5.07/lb. So I guess in the future I will wait for the 35% off sale or maybe the 40% off if I feel like buying a year's supply.

When I drop under 8lbs in reserve I start looking at the offers they email me. Before today my previous best was $5.96 per pound (unflavored isolate). I was pleasantly surprised to get it under $5.50.
Another thing to watch for is that the largest size is not always the cheapest option. Lately I've gone with the 4kg bag because it was cheaper than the 5kg bag.

Yeah I was trying to figure out how you got that deal because when I looked at Unflavored I was just checking the 5kg bag at first... it's almost twice the price!SpinyNorman wrote: ↑Wed Jun 06, 2018 9:31 am

I hate having to sort thought so much marketing voodoo to figure out what the best price is, but they have far and away the best price I've found for what I want if I put the effort in.TimK wrote: ↑Wed Jun 06, 2018 9:36 amYeah I was trying to figure out how you got that deal because when I looked at Unflavored I was just checking the 5kg bag at first... it's almost twice the price!SpinyNorman wrote: ↑Wed Jun 06, 2018 9:31 am

If you're looking for better prices on the flavored versions that don't come in the 8.8# pouch, you can get (2) 11# packages for $128 ($5.82/lb) with code ISO22. Also comes with free 2.2# of the Salted Caramel which I did not include in the /lb price.

Don't they have perpetual sales, or are there better ones mixed in with the daily emails?

Personal best: 2 x 5.5lb Impact Whey Unflavored = 11 lbs, $50 shipped = $4.55 per lb. Ordered 7/30/18. FYI so you all know what's a good price.
The two orders prior I had it at $5 per lb. So I'm fine with $4.5-$5 per lb when ordering.

40% off this weekend. Got an 11 lb sack of unflavored whey isolate for $74, $6.73/lb.
I've been paying $9/lb from Amazon, this is a very good deal.

I think Bulk Powders are an OK alternative to myprotein. Seem to be direct competitors with similar business model. Worth checking out as the two companies appear to run competitive promotions against each other.

My bag of myprotein whey doesn't mix well. Anyone had similar issues? It seems their packaging is...not good.
