Lady on adjacent platform gives "us" compliment that the boys' lifts/form look so good and 'correct'.
I say thanks, etc. She doesn't then disappears wihtout re-racking any of her weights.
Sunday's are funny. Gym is a mess of crap that's been left out or not put back away.
I explain all "this" to the boy...
I really think the Sunday session at the globo are a good thing.
It is going to get him used to what the high school gyms are like.
Loading his own weights, collars, safety heights, putting stuff away, lifting in a public setting, confidence, etc etc

Much Flag Football Drama

Boy got in trouble at school.
Part of the punishment was to miss the last game.
Problem is, it was the end of season tournament.
I sat him for all three games that day; coach agreed too.
We would've went to championship round.if he played.
Lost the third game on a 2 p.a.t.d. try with 4 seconds left.

In other news, in the 10y.o. division, a club team was caught feeding 12 y.o. players into the 10s game.

It was so stupid, because the other team accused them in the first half, right when they saw the kid that was 8" taller than everyone else....and called them out in the middle of game. The tall kid didn't play another snap the entire game, and then, wouldn't even stand by the rest of his team (that wasn't his team) on the sidelines. He would up watching the rest of the getting with his parents. It was pretty obvious.

They got DQd. I thought a fight might break out on the field after the game while the league director investigated. Everyone else was standing midfield while it was being sorted out, almost getting into each other's faces.....we couldn't start our game until the decision was made for some reason.

3-18-2019 pm practice at mesa park

enough sprinting and skill work was done here to count as training.
they had him blitz a lot from the wide corner-back position.
the new team/club seems to have their crap together moreso than the last team.
