Deadlift
500x5, 430x5x3

Close Grip Bench
230x8x3

Landmine Row

115x12x3

Some updates

I am tinkering with changing my main movers here to 3's a little earlier than anticipated

My elbow tendonitis fuckery seems to have mostly subsided, still kinda there but not nearly like it was.

Outside of that I'm just a little banged up, glute left side isn't 100% and hasn't been for a while, this left shoulder/trap thing will hopefully die down soon...

I mention this because I'm about to start restricting calories. Doing 3 days and not chasing strength has been nice but I'm probably in the worst place physically and mentally I've been. Weaker I can take, but being fatter too I can't. I have to drop a good 20 lbs to be where I should be and I need to get off my ass...

Everybody needs a break here and there, and should do what they need to, but personally I find my mental state suffers if I'm not doing at least one lift heavy. The effort of something heavy sems to reset the brain chemistry.

Obviously meant to train yesterday but with the chances of a snowpocalypse I opted to get my outside chores done. Outdoor lights are all hung and I moved a bunch of my currently unused strongman shit and other stuff into the shed for winter. However, jokes on me because the storm completely stayed south and we haven't seen so much as a flake... fine by me.

Deadlift didnt feel as good as it should, but I'm sorta banged up feeling from yesterday, didn't sleep great, and it was 9:30 am on just a bowl of yogurt with some granola...

On that, calorie restriction hasn't been unbelievably strict yet but the needle is moving. Shed about 5 bad behavior lbs from the past week. This weekend will be a test of my self discipline for sure. Not gonna deny myself pie on Thanksgiving but gotta at least keep a hand on the wheel.

And speaking of banged up, left shoulder is not great, but the pain has changed and moved a bit, which is usually a sign I'm healing... just slowly. It's not terrible, just uncomfortable.

I was wondering if you were under the 77" that Orchard Park got or not. My parents got a dusting on their side of the lake but that's it. One ugly meal won't bother anything if you are kinda tight otherwise. I'm dropping in spite of the undeniable call of fresh soudough the other day. At least at this stage of my cutting. It'll probably get tougher once I get down around the target weight.

Nah we're up north by Lake Ontario, we've got some moving through now but it's supposed to pass by in the next couple hours...

Post Thanksgiving slowdown was tough to get through. Desire to laze about on the couch was very very high... bloat seems to have died down but I'll be avoiding the scale for a week or so lol

Just throwing in arm stuff occasionally if I have time because I've been feeling f(l)at in that dept lately...

History has proven I don't have the patience or dedication to actually train them

Probably one more week of this, maybe pop a fourth set into each of the secondary movers and then onto the reboot block

Edit: worth noting that squats did not set off any alarms on the left shoulder tonight. Knock on wood no jinxies maybe it's cleared up...

Alright turn on the waterworks because I skipped squats. Sound like a bitch but I haven't quite adjusted to the 'totally not mandatory' 10-12 hr assembly shifts where I'm on my feet uninterrupted. Hips and back are feeling it quite a bit and I'd rather try and keep what energy I have for pulling...
