Gyms for the travelling lifters...

Bands, chains, wraps, straps, racks... are you sure this is training related?

Also, Izzy trains there so you can go pester him if you see him in there.
@Stenson

what about the summerlin area?
Found it.. thx

Edit: skipped over it bc of the terrible Google review rating, but might need to look further. Idk if 7am is early enough to open for me to get a good lift in before the day begins.

I just got a membership at Dragons Gym (on Flamingo), they will give you a free day pass on your first visit. There's a powerlifting room and even an outdoor area with power racks.

Mind posting a pic of the PL room? I looked on their website/social media and didn't see anything other than the regular gym and outdoor area.

Now that I think about it, I'm not sure you'd have access to the PL room with the free day pass since it's kind of a separate entity. But if you're interested in lifting with a rando from the internet, hit me up and we'll try to work something out.

Anyone have a good lead on a powerlifting gym near Port Saint Lucie, FL/Jensen Beach, FL area? I'm going to be there for month of July.

Anyone know of currently available gyms around Escondido or Murietta? I found an LA Fitness that's open in Murietta, just want to have fallback options as I will be travelling in that area soon.

Metroflex Murrieta looks good. Never been there personally, but know someone who trains there.

Iron Mongers is around Escondido, in Vista.

Torque barbell club, if they’re still open. Went to another place that sucked (Forge fitness). @Mahendra might have suggestions.

Yep, I think Torque Barbell club is likely your best bet (that I know of) but I think you still need to train outdoors. It doesn't seem like commercial gyms will be reopening yet as we haven't hit "stage 3" in Toronto/GTA (which allows gyms to be opened).

Where in the GTA are you going to be? Torque barbell is on the west end of Toronto.

I'm driving from NY to Chicago in late August, and looking for a good spot to get a lift in that's reasonably off Route 80 in Ohio or Indiana (understanding that shit may or may not be open for business).

Clevelander checking in here. Your best bet in the Cleveland area would be either Old School Iron Gym (https://osigym.com/) on the west side or Kings Gym (https://www.kingsgymohio.com/) on the east side. I know for a fact Old School has dropin options since I used to go there occasionally, Kings likely does, but I'd call ahead. Both of them are right off of I-480 (both ends of which connect to the Ohio Turnpike, and would only add about 10 minutes to your overall drive time.
