Re: Next round of Exodus gear
Thanks, @mgil!!
I just ordered the following shirt--navy with the gold emblem, which will probably go nicely with my Inzer singlet. Should arrive around June 10. (No, that's not me in the photo.)

Re: Next round of Exodus gear
I got it from Custom Ink; I've never bought anything from them before, so I was waiting until I have the shirt in-hand before recommending/whatever them. I got the Next Level Apparel Jersey T-shirt in Midnight Navy, which came out to $30.50 shipped. I have a couple other Next Level apparel shirts, and I like them--I hope the one I ordered is the same as the ones I've already got...JohnHelton wrote: ↑Fri May 27, 2022 3:55 amWill do. Re: Next round of Exodus gear
I got the shirt yesterday, and it looks just like the picture here. It is a dark, dark navy; hence the name, midnight navy. It is darker than my singlet, but that's okay. I went through the site again to see if they have a Next Level Apparel (NLA) shirt in "plain" navy, but I don't think they do.
I do really like the shirt. It feels great to me although if you're bigger than 6', 195#, you may want an XL in the all cotton shirt. I like the fitted, slim to the body fit of cotton shirts though.
As for CustomInk, I would buy from them again. Everything was easy, and it arrived quicker than quoted. For the price, $30.50 shipped for one shirt, that's okay. I've bought NLA shirts from state park gift stores, and they were around $27 apiece. Buying in bulk obviously gives a better price per shirt. They also have lots of other brands of shirts to choose from, and although I didn't really search around for what else they can print on, I think they can pretty much do it on any clothing and probably other merch, too.
If mgil reads this, they also do fundraising. So if it's ever decided to raise some funds for the forum, they might be a vector for that.
ETA: Lifted today with the shirt. Yessir, I like it.

Re: Next round of Exodus gear
Finally found a source to print this up.
Based on the pain it’s been, it’ll take some demand to get me motivated to print up a bunch, but I can if interested. I think I have the graphic squared away for use now.

needs more ......
.
.
.
...more alphaness
lighting bolt / metallic font lettering ...or gothic-calligraphy with blood-drop accents at the edge of the letters.
add a couple of american flags (... at least, jeesh ! )
what colors you ask?
comes is: drab olive, Mossy-Oak©, WWII camo, Desert Storm camo, neo-pixelated-camo, and Black.

Re: Next round of Exodus gear
Stupid question alert. Is there a link where I can buy something that directly supports the site? I see where people have had stuff made with the logo, but is there a Cafe Press link or something where I can order something and the money/profit goes to help the forum? I looked in here but didn't find it...

Thank you. It's blocked from my current country, so it'll have to wait for me to be not here I guess.JohnHelton wrote: ↑Thu Sep 01, 2022 11:16 amhttps://teamlocker.squadlocker.com/#/lo ... ?_k=9635oiHardartery wrote: ↑Thu Sep 01, 2022 10:42 am Stupid question alert. Re: Next round of Exodus gear
Does anyone actually have ownership of the Exodus logo?
I bought a couple of Nathan W Pyle shirts the other day and it got me thinking about setting up a Threadless store. Initially I thought I could chuck some Exodus stuff in there to help cover off hosting costs.. then I thought I could maybe play with the logo and give it a freshen up... then I realised my very arty eight year old would probably love to see some of her art on t-shirts so I could bang some of her drawings in there too.
Haven't done anything yet, but just wanted to float how people felt about the logo being there too when it's already at Squadlocker.

Re: Next round of Exodus gear
@BenM I own the gorilla deadlift logo outright. I’ve been too busy to really set up a shop to print that logo. I have full color and line art.
Makes my one tee shirt with the logo a very expensive tee…

Re: Next round of Exodus gear
Yeah, I figured you owned that one. I didn't actually intend to use that, I was more thinking of the OG gold Exodus Strength logo.
But hey, if I do setup a store and people want the gorilla shirts, I'm happy to chuck that in there too. I assume there'd be a way to figure out what profit comes from which design so funds can be distributed appropriately..

I’m fine with the proceeds of my design going to server fees.

Thanks @mgil
I'll keep everyone posted. I'm mostly waiting to see what the quality is like before I start setting anything up. Australia Post being what it is, I won't have shirts for another couple of weeks.
