But really, my favorite local brewery's (Brewery Vivant) main seller is Farmhand, which is saison-ish. I've got 50 unique ones logged, almost all from Vivant, but here goes:
Probably wide distro:

• Foret was one of my first non-macro beers, and remains a solid option. I get this to share with my wife on special occasions, not because it's the best but because it's what we've been drinking on special occasions for over a decade.

• Saison Dupont is a solid choice, should be available lots of places

• Fantome Grimm was really good

Might be wider than I think distro:

• Jolly Pumpkin Baudelaire iO is super tasty

• Brewery Vivant Zaison is a spring release, something like 11%, really tasty. Their Paris releases are a red-wine-barrel aged saison, fantastic if you can find it (outside of my basement, where I have some bottles ). And Vivant Farmhand is a nice, easy, solid drink that I had plenty of over the summer

Ommegang Hennepin, hands down.

Visited "Reklis Brewery" while in NH this past weekend. Their Pumpkin Stout was good, everything else was shit including the cider.

Brooklyn Bel Air Sour was good.

Ommegang Hennepin, Great Divide Colette Farmhouse Ale, and Boulevard Brewing Tank 7 are three I always enjoy.

Picked up a four pack of Exhibit 'A' Second and Greater Good Pulp Daddy (which I've been wanting to try for a while). Not impressed by either. I remember Pulp being a lot "juicier" and wanted more of the same from Pulp Daddy but it was a drier/bitterer beer. I liked the GG beers they had brewed under contract better than the ones I've had since they opened their own brewery at the beginning of this year.

I've had Exhibit 'A' before (Hair Raiser, I think) and didn't really care for it but they've been getting good press so I thought I'd try another one. This is their limited anniversary release. It was OK - had a bit of a "champagne" flavor to it that I liked but I wouldn't go out of my way to stock up, especially at $20 for a four pack.

Had some NC and ATL beers, nothing particularly noteworthy. New Anthem in Wilmington was pretty good, they had a bunch of full barrels in the taproom, hopefully it survives the next few weeks.

Tavour is no longer delivery to Massachusetts. I'm pretty disappointed. I worked my way through all the ones I ordered a few months ago and was thinking about placing another order. I looked at craftshack.com but their shipping costs are crazy high.

In lieu of that I took a drive down to Trillium in Canton on my lunch hour - drinking a Permutation 62 right now and it's fantastic. Love how soft and flavorful their beers are.

Tried something like 26 beers of various wood-aged varieties this past weekend. There were a few standouts, and nothing I really disliked, though the beet-juice one was too beet-y for me and I am quite glad I wasn't the one who ordered it.

That sucks- my favorite local brewery apparently just got on to Tavour.

After this Oktoberfest tasting (up to 15 beers now) I'll probably do another stout blind tasting. Any interest, @TimK?

Beer fridge is now full: picked up about $100 worth of oatmeal/coffee stouts, have an assortment of cellared beers I plan to open, and my BiL sent me home with some IPAs he has picked up from out of town (just when I had finally cleared my fridge of anything hoppy!). Nothing super rare or fancy. We did split a 2017 CBS last night, and it was way sweeter than it was on release.

Popped by the Mill House Brewing Company in Poughkeepsie. They make a Cucumber Cream Ale which is something else. It literally tastes like biting into a cucumber. It's not for everyone's taste I think, but it is a real marvel as I've never had a beer quite like it. Usually it's like, the impression of whatever fruit. Never have I had one that had as much flavor. Got a couple of packs to share with friends since they were having a 2 for 1 sale on it. Crisp.

Working from home today so just cracked open a Cloud Candy by Mighty Squirrel. They call it a New England style IPA but it's a little less fruity and a little more bitter/piney than I would expect, kind of a 75% NE/ 25% West Coast hybrid. Pretty good, very refreshing.

CBS comes out today, I'm not going to bother looking for it because I know my BiL is going to end up with 5+ bottles, and I still don't love it all that much. It was better back before it got popular.
