I haven't had a ton of milkshake IPAs so for me their still kind of an enjoyable novelty.

Standard Two Hearted is really good - great balance (and reasonably priced). Maine Brewing Company Dinner is similar although maybe a little more aggressively hoppy (and kind of pricey). If I see the Double Two Hearted I will pick some up to try.

I was on vacation in NH last weekend and stopped by Schilling which is one of my favorite spots thanks in large part to their incredible location and also how nice all the staff are. Tried quite a few different samples, their Dr Oovert and Schlaumeier were two of the standouts. If you are visiting the White Mountains, worth stopping by.

Stumbled across Dogfish Head's 120 minute IPA at the store this weekend. Have had one before and it was great. Keep your eyes peeled...

BiL asked if I had any empty bottles for his home-brew. I had some, but I figured might as well make another. Opened a Founders' Breakfast Stout from last year that has been in the fridge door since then. Tasted a little off, ended up rinsing out the last 1/3. I need to get back to drinking more frequently- pre & post vacation I sort of beer'd myself out, with the exception of Wood Aged Beer Fest on the 14th. Had an awesome red wine barrel sour. Also a really interesting one with cassava.

I had several of these during yesterday's Patriots game. Weird taste at first but after it warmed up a little that went away and it was good. Definitely more of a "dessert" beverage.

Yo, @Hanley, want me to see how much it would cost to get a few cans of sours out your way?
I figure I owe you, and until you put out an ebook or something I could just send you some tasty treats.
