Strength Insider has a couple of other posts on this

This sounds like a huge embarrassment for the IPF, which when considered in concert with the Wilks/Powerlifting Australia stuff, seems like a bit of a clown show

That media release needed another draft, or 3, or 4.

Well, it's nice to see the IPF going back to their roots for some drama...or simply some drama about something other than Wilks and PA.

That was my first reaction. It’s not well edited at all.

If the USAPL leaves IPF, then I’m guessing that the IPF is going to be hurting for income. If USAPL leaves and these vendors stop paying the stupid equipment fees, then the IPF can fold and something else can replace it.

Wait, is WADA bitching and moaning that the USAPL is drug testing too much or some shit?

Regardless, watching these assclowns eat each other alive would be immensely satisfying.

Sounds like USAPL uses labs which aren't WADA approved a lot of the time, since they are much cheaper. Also, less robust procedures for maintaining chain of custody when it comes to samples.

It'd be kinda tough to not get named to a World's Squad for getting popped by a testing procedure not recognized by the IPF...

Someone on Reddit (while not a fan of this development) noted that said as a word, USAPLA had some appeal.

I want to see this succeed.
As far as federations go, I'm absolutely a partisan at this point.

"Merica, fuck yeah!

What the actual fuck

It makes sense though, because it's the Australian affiliate of the USAPL. I won't even go near whether we NEED that though
