Any good resources on barbell row form/technique?Looking to make sure I’m using good form before I do them again on Friday. Specifically if there’s any difference as to 45 degree back versus as close to parallel, that would be helpful.

Thanks.

Personally I like the cheat rows that Cailer Woolam and Ed Coan promote:

Mother of all that's holy nevermind...

All I wanted to do was post a South Park meme about cheating...

Stupid internet.

Back angle makes a difference in muscle recruitment and loading parameters for the upper back but I guess the biggest difference would be the load on your lower back.

Over the years I've done all sorts of rows, from strict-as-hell to atood-nearly-straight -up-bar-humping and think that as long as you have some "feeling" for how your back muscles are working then they all can have value.

Youtube search for the Pendlay Row. Glenn Pendlay actually has a vid up on youtube showing proper form. I've done them for so many years now I needed a change so I've been doing the Pendlay Row lately with a supine hand grip. Feeling it more in both arms and back.

Penlay's form is much stricter than I thought it was.
