I find that, after a week, it's so much harder to face getting back to it. So I try not to let layoffs go longer than that if I can help it.

I think at this stage, only a several month layoff will reverse the effects of all this sillyness (by silliness I mean lifting, and yes I spotted that i spelt that two different ways but my phone autocorrect said yes to both)
