That's a lot of protein, though...

It's the (probably) massive salt intake. I've felt dehydrated for days now.

Tell me more...
I assume you're holding on to one end of a chain.?. Is it starting with part of the chain on the floor, or completely off the floor throughout?
It's interesting to me because my natural inclination would be to want the weight heavier when my arm is fully extended and getting lighter as my arm gets more horizontal. This would seem to do the opposite, but maybe I'm missing something.

Settled on holding some webbing with the chains clipped in at the middle of the chain length. There are ~2 links on the ground at the start. The extra movement of chains though makes the whole movement much harder and forces a more even tempo, or else they swing and hit you in the shins or crotch, depending on where and how bad the swing is. I use one large (20lb) chain and one small (8lb) in each hand. It feels awesome, best curling movement IMO.

Sounds like something I'll have to try at some point. Thanks for the explanation. ;)
Hope things smooth out for you on the home front.

Seems like a smart way to approach a tough situation. I have been working on slowing down, giving it time, being ok with not knowing. The alternative is to let your emotions carry you away with them at 100mph, which never ends well.

I was wondering how things were going for you.

Had you guys been religious earlier in your relationship? This would be a really tough thing to have opposite feelings about.

Just me, at the start. Her not being religious helped me pull myself out of that hellscape.

Left adductor felt awful, at least I noticed it feeling awful during the bike warmup. Bending down to the bar hurt pretty bad. So I made that the whole workout. Reset, let go, stand up between each rep. Walked on the treadmill between sets to try and move around more. Things actually felt a little better once I did some squats, annoyingly, so I might start doing some of those mobility drills or something around lunch time and see if I can cut down on the number of sessions I have to reengineer because of some sort of leg pain.

Welcome to left adductor hell. Been here for a minute. My strain/knot is too high up to reasonably ask anyone to massage it, and although I do plan to buy a massage gun, I need to wait because I'm heading back down south in a week and a half and I don't want to order it here and then have one more thing to fit in my already overstuffed suitcase. What I have done is take a hard, beveled foam roller, put in on my chair, and sit on it, sorta sideways to get the adductor directly on top of it, with all my weight on the sore area. It definitely has helped.
