I like tables so here it goes:


General
Abbreviation Meaning
BBM Barbell medicine
BF, bf Body Fat in %
BW Body Weight
CNS Central Nervous System
DUP Daily Undulating Periodization
GGW Garage Gym Warrior
GPP General Physical Preparedness
HIIT High Intensity Interval Training
HLM Heavy Light Medium
Hodge Boss, or huge, or something like that
HPS Hypertrophy Power Strength
KISS Keep It Simple Stupid
KUA Kitten Urban Assault
LISS Low Intensity Steady State (cardio)
LP Linear Progression, or Linear Periodization. Depends who you're talking to.
NME Neuromuscular efficiency
NSAIDS Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, e.g. Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Diclofenac
OHP Over Head Press
PPST Practical Programming for Strength Training
PR/PB Personal Record/Personal Best
RPE Rate of Perceived Exertion
RTS Reactive Training Systems
SRA Stimulus Recovery Adaptation
SS / StSt Starting Strength
SSBBT Starting Strength: Basic Barbell Training
SSLP Starting Strength Linear Progression
TBR Thighs to Bis Ratio
TM Texas Method

GGW is probably run enough to get it's own. Might be worth it to separate out SS and SSBBT. LP. Make a separate table for lifts and include some of those - dl variants (RDL, SLDL, SGDL etc), squats (LBBS, HBBS, FS etc).

What, no LP = Linear Progression?
TM = Texas Method
some people use PB = Personal Best instead of PR

In a lot of other circles, LP would mean Linear Periodization. For the StSt version, I usually type NLP (Novice Linear Progression). Not sure it matters, though.
