@cole So true! I dirty bulked a few times when I was younger but then really badly for SS LP. It’s been a long time coming to get that extra weight off. I got my 500 squat, 525 deadlift, 340 bench. I’m good if that’s the best I ever do.

-Wow I’m half a pound from being in the 190’s! I haven’t been this light since Sept/Oct 2014. I’ve sacrificed strength for it but I do feel healthier outside of the gym. No more snoring at all (used to be bad). Stairs are easier. Walking is easier.
-Hopefully I can get down to around 190 ish before I reverse again and cruise in maintenance calories through Nov/Dec/Jan.

-This was always planned to be a deload week but I’m kind of fed up with how things have been going. It feels like I’ve been ramming my head into a wall over and over for months now.
-Just trying a 4 day split for the rest of this calorie cut (until end of Oct) to try and chop up some training stress into hopefully more recoverable sessions. I’ve accepted the current strength plummet is just a part of my long term calorie deficit. It’s been about 18 mths with only a couple breaks. Hopefully I spring back in the New Year after a few months of eating maintenance.

@cole Thanks man, it’s humbling but we all know our strength does come back eventually. Especially when we change gears. My focus is on fat loss not strength and I have to keep reminding myself of that. It’s definitely a mental struggle though feeling like years of hard work is gone.
