Memories
Light the corners of my mind
Misty watercolor memories
Of the way we were

Scattered pictures
Of the smiles we left behind
Smiles we gave to one another
For the way we were

Can it be that it was all so simple then?
Or has time re-written every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again
Tell me, would we?
Could we?

Memories
May be beautiful and yet
What's too painful to remember
We simply to choose to forget

So it's the laughter
We will remember
Whenever we remember
The way we were
The way we were

We Packers fans just need to R E L A X, run the table, and start cutting some reps.

A prime time away game against the Bills is just the thing they need to get an easy win and build some confidence.

Yo to be fair GB had a lot more fight in them than I was expecting, especially in the 2nd half.

Collinsworth continues to show his shitbaggedness... on what planet does a player shove a sideline coach/practice squad TE/anyone who is not actively playing on the field and a commentator defends these actions by saying "well we don't know what happened before the shove".

Dipshit.

A QB who has lost a step, a weak pass protection o-line, no #1 WR (and now running out of #2s). They have a top tier RB and a decent #2 guy, but a heavy running game isn't going to work unless there's a defense that can keep the game close, which they don't have, or WRs who can start opening things up if the other team has to sell out against the run, which they don't' have. Not sure how they start to fix it. Despite a little bit of life last night, it doesn't seem like there's a "run the table" moment coming this year. Maybe they'll go nuts in the next 30 hours on the trade market, but I doubt it.

Yep

Glad they didn't lose a second for Claypool, though.

Apparently they offered more, but Pittsburgh was concerned that GB would turn its season around and the pick(s) wouldn’t be worth as much. I think you dodged a bullet.

Not NFL related, but I was at LSU/Alabama last night and it was the sickest live sporting event experience that I expect ever to have again. Incredible.

Agreed. With their remaining schedule, I figured any realistic shot at playoff contention was already over even before the Lions game, unless they were going to go absolutely and uncharacteristically wild and trade multiple players in and out. One WR or TE wasn't going to save the season. At this point, with the injuries and constant mistakes, I'm not sure if they'll win another game.

I'm ready to see what Jordan Love can do with an extended chance, even though I know it's unlikely while they're still technically alive (not like the NFC wildcard will be out of reach for some time yet). Unless they've already decided that Love isn't capable of being a starter, it seems like they have little to lose letting him play. They'll either keep losing and get a top draft pick to grab a potential franchise QB, or they'll see that Love can lead the offense and can spend the draft plugging other holes.

They string another 7 wins together and I'll start thinking they can go somewhere this year.

1. Isn't that a weekly thing for MN now?
2. Is @mouse OK?

Pretty much. And as a Vikings fan, I just have to assume that the piper will have to be paid eventually, probably Game 1 of the playoffs.

Tried to reply yesterday but my phone wasn't playing nice...

I am still alive.

On the upside, I did manage to squeak out a dub that night and end the 5 week slide into fantasy (very real) misery.

However with the Kupp and Jeudy injuries I know have at least *checks notes* SIX players either questionable or on byes next week so... waiver scrubs assemble!

I'm wondering if they'll move the game.

The Packers have given me the slimmest ray of hope for meaningful football in December, but I feel a more than a little like Charlie Brown watching Lucy holding the football. I'm also wondering if Derrick Henry will have more rushing yards than Rodgers has passing yards.

Derrick Henry had 87 yards and 3.1 YPC average, so like, Mission Accomplished?...I still have yet to figure out the defensive coordinator strategy of playing your corners 5-10 yards off the line on 3rd and short. I'm not a math guy though.

Matt Ryan has now been on the losing end of both the biggest NFL comeback of all time, and the biggest Superbowl comeback of all time

Whoever writes the scripts for the NFL should get an emmy...

I saw some absurd that that out of ~1550 games with 30+ point leads the leading team won 1548 times, tied once, and lost once since 1930...

So I mean, for people who like that kind of stuff you literally watched a game that happens once every 100 years or so...

It's like a Matt Ryan shit meteor...
