USAPL and CPU already dropped Metal, and EliteFTS also stopped carrying their items.
IPF and British Powerlifting have yet to do so.

Well the IPF makes a pretty penny from Metal paying them their fee, so if they want to get the IPF drop them then the other companies need to threaten to not pay their fees.Wilhelm wrote: ↑Wed Jun 17, 2020 12:01 pmMaybe i screwed up the link.LexAnderson wrote: ↑Wed Jun 17, 2020 11:55 am What's this about, good sir? My black girlfriend bought me few weeks ago Metal powerlifting belt.
What am I to do now, apologize to her?

Only singlets and deadlift socks are being swapped.
Don't know if @TheDuke is in the states, or if the belt was bought from EliteFTS, but if it was, maybe they will do a return, since they severed ties with Metal over this.
Maybe even any seller other than Metal themselves would accept this as a reason for a return.

I don't really know much about the minutia of gear approval or whatnot (in fencing we'd call this homologation, a word that I love to hate). Is there a history of the IPF/other feds enforcing more than just "yes, this gear meets our standards and has paid a testing/approval/listing fee?"
