I'm 2 eps into
Abstract: The Art of Design and enjoying it. Every episode is a profile of a prominent someone in a design field.
I recommended this highly over on StSt when it first came out. A couple of the later episodes aren’t as strong as the intial ones, but they are great overall.
I’m guessing you really dug (or will dig) the episode where the woman, whose name I cannot recall, gets into detail about the importance of fonts.

I'm tempted to not watch stranger things 2. The first season was so nicely wrapped I kind of want it to end like that. I'll wait for more opinion before I commit.
Anyone else watch big mouth? The hormone monster is a solid character

I watched it. Thought it was pretty good overall, and, yes, the hormone monster is good.

Probably. I'm looking forward to more episodes because I like to hear from people who engage with design challenges I don't have to think about a lot.

Fishwife, did you see the one with Platon? That’s a really good one. I can’t remember where it lies in the series.

Day off today. Watching Stranger Things on netfrix before the internet spoils it completely.
I'm not sure when Tom Segura's new special is going to run. I can already tell you that will be mint.

The photographer? I saw this series the other day and thought it looked good, but now I have to watch it. Big fan of Platon's work. Somewhere a long time ago I heard a recording where he was describing how he travelled to some remote dacha in Russia to photograph Putin and how terrifying it was. Great story.

Yeah, the photographer. I’d reckon you’d enjoy it.

Spoiler tag Stranger Things, at least give me a few weeks to try and sneak an episode or two in before it gets fully ruined. Then again, I didn't watch the first one for a few months after it came out, and I avoided spoilers for that.
Wife took the kid to her parents for the weekend, so I got a bit of time to myself, and watched "Raw" and "Train to Busan." Raw was alright, not scary, but there was a part that almost made me throw up. Train to Busan was enjoyable, but 100% predictable. I was afraid to start Stranger Things and end up not doing anything else.
I watched a few of the Art of Design episodes while I was off work with the kid during bottles, I liked it but it was a little boring for me.

Finished Stranger Things S2 last night.
Thoughts:
kind of a big break for Kai Greene, good for him I guess [grapefruit joke].
I could never tell if the actor playing Will was mediocre at acting or just really good at acting weird- I now believe the latter.
So, 11 needed to "heal the wound" inside her to close the gate, right? Seems odd to me that she (a little girl) "healed it" by fully embracing the rage inside her. Then again it probably would've been corny for her final thoughts to be happy stuff about her friends and Hopper. I guess "standing up the bully" was a big part of the show, so there's that.
Billy had thicc muscular buttocks. Definitely DTFP
Overall, loved it.

Mindhunter should have been a one off season telling the whole story of criminal profiling. It was unnerving as fuck.

Made it through half an hour of the first episode of Stranger Things S2, I enjoyed it.

Watched the first 20 minutes of Sleepy Hollow, then went back today to watch the rest and it's not available any more.
Oh well.

Not available, or it never made it on to your "Recently Watched" list? Because sometimes my Recently Watched doesn't update, and sometimes things go off it for no reason. Though, they have also been dropping the license for lots of movies and a fair number of TV shows in the past year or so.

Started watching Chewing Gum last night. Love me a british sitcom. Michaela Coel is fantastic. Crazyhead (comedy-horror) also recommended.

Chewing Gum is amazing. Can't believe I forgot to recommend it.
Crazyhead is fun, too.

1st: Stranger Things 2 is total awesome-sauce... but that's just my prerogative. I think season 1 had more mystique but it was still great and I'm sad there's not more episodes for me to binge.
2nd: Big Mouth is hysterical! I love Maury the Hormone Monster! (kid) "what should I do about the mess?" (Monster) "sleep in it pig" lmao

Not available on search by name either.
Netflex online buys permission to show a movie for a given period of time, then it disappears. I guess they had Sleepy Hollow just for Halloween and not long afterwards.

S2 of stranger things was aite, I just can't forgive that weird 11 goes on a heist episode with the motley crew of misfits. Cringe worthy. But then again, I was higher than a giraffe flying a kite, which could have clouded my perception. Or attuned it further. Not sure.
