In a couple of places, @JordanFeigenbaum recommends 0.045 grams/kg/day. For example, YouTube video
Does anyone know where that number comes from? I've been unable to find any other site, article, or study using that number. I reviewed all of the articles linked in the YT video description, but maybe I overlooked something.

Answered with subtle snark:
Take 5g (typical RDA from various sources) and divide by Jordan's BW of ~110kg*...
~0.045 grams/kg/day
*I think this was about the heaviest Jordan got for competition. I think he’s around 90kg usually now.
Regardless, it’s likely a back fit of the 5g per day which is 1-2 scoops, depending on brand, per day for a little-bit-above-average-adult-male.

Re: Creatine dosage
As far as i've been able to see (haven't saved any links) the 5g a day is akin to the 1g per lb bw weight figure for protein.
Probably excessive, but so oft repeated it has become the standard.
Not harmful in either case.
I do 3g creatine a day @200lbs morning bw.

Re: Creatine dosage
Thanks guys. I just found it strange to hear Jordan recommend such an odd and oddly specific number (in several places).
