How cheap does it need to be? Is this outside your budget?

I was gonna send along the same one. There are a few decent options on Amazon. That Marcy one is 14 gauge.

TTCZ Flat Weight Utility Bench Heavy Duty for Multi-Purpose Weight Training and AB Exercises-1,000 lbs Capacity

This one looks like a decent design also, but I’m not sure of the metal thickness. Could be 14 gauge also.

Yeah, I pointed him to it because it looks like it's exactly the same as the slightly more expensive Adidas-branded one, which I used to own and eventually sold to @tdood if I remember correctly. It was plenty sturdy for even a larger lifter doing some dumbbell work. No play in it at all with ~450-500 total lifter + bar weight for the years it was in my possession. I upgraded to a Legend 3103, which I think was at least in part due to your influence, @mgil and which is most likely outside the OP's budget.

@Cody was prodding you also.

@oldguy, Rep Fitness has the FB-3000 in stock:

It's cheap and not shitty.

The Rep Fitness bench is a really solid choice. Literally and figuratively.

+1 for Rep.

Been using the basic FB-3000 over 4 years now.
The original pad has held up extremely well, and the bench is stout AF.

i've snugged up the bolts that mount the pad a couple of times, but the nylock nuts on the frame don't budge.
iirc, it's rated at something like 1,000lbs

Titan Fitness SINGLE POST COMPETITION FLAT BENCH - FLASH DEAL - $119.97 -- One Day Only (today 1-28-2021) for the deal.

https://www.titan.fitness/strength/benc ... 00869.html

Not as a nice as the rep 3000 but potentially much cheaper when you figure in free shipping.

Rep will have better qc but lately they have let a lot of shitty welds get through based on garagegyms facebook page, so am not sure if quality is likely to be better than Titan.

Really ironic you mentioned this. The night before it went on sale I ordered same bench through Amazon for 129. Thinking I was really smart because it was more expensive on Titan site ( at that time any way ). Silly me. I like rep but the shipping is expensive and unpredictable. Amazon cheap and predictable.

Nice bench but one of threads on front foot is f’d up. Normal times , I’d call for a swap but I’ll just get a nut and put in hollow section to secure it.

Even though you bought it through Amazon send Titan a message. I bet they will give you something, worst case scenario points to make another questionable purchase from them.
