Bands, chains, wraps, straps, racks... are you sure this is training related?

3 inch belt in europe

Hi!

Does anyone know where you can get 3 inch belts that fits the SS recommendations? In europe would be great. I tried a thick 10cm/4inch "powerlifting" belt and it feels really awkward and either digs into my hips or ribs :(

Pioneer ships international for $35 about everywhere. They have several 3" belt options, and you can email them to have any questions answered.

FWIW, and I'm not saying you're wrong here, but Austin Baraki said in an Instagram livestream a few days ago that people shouldn't rush to buying a 3" belt when they probably just haven't learned to squat or pull in a 4" belt. I see really short guys and girls conventional deadlifting in 13mm 4" belts.

If you've already tried everything and it's still killing you, carry on with getting a 3".

This^^^^. I used to think I needed a 3" belt for deadlifts because my torso is short and my hip pointers are high, but I found the perfect spots for all lifts - tightness, no pain, no fat pinching, no lumbar flexion. Tweak your setup and find your sweet spot, and if it doesn't work even after a lot of experimentation, get a 3".
