Rubber end cap thingies?
My bench is 2 x 2 tubing. It has the rubber foot thingies that fit over the tubing, not Inside the tubing.
I found a couple of places online that sell them. 3-6 bucks a pop plus shipping is almost as much.
Does anyone know what these are actually called, and is there a place I can buy them? Maybe I’m overlooking a local place?

Grommets? They might even be called "end caps," depending on what the manufacturer wants to call them.
Who's the manufacturer of the bench?

Elite fts made the bench. I’ve sent them an email. Mc master Carr sells them but I can only find hard plastic ones. I’d like rubber.
The bodybuilding forums.com are down right now. I’ve phoned some local retailers but they don’t have a clue.

Lol you're sooooooo close though.
Yeah they're just end caps (grommets are hole protectors for something passing through metal) and yeah McMaster has them... you just need vinyl ones.
~$12 for a pack of 10 if you need 2x2

Yup, those are them! They don’t have them in rubber. Mine are rubber. I think plastic would slide a bit on rubber mats.mouse wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 2:38 am Lol you're sooooooo close though.

Eh I don't think the vinyl would slide on mat just because they're 'smooth'.
And if they did? Skateboard tape.

They're usually just called "Rubber end caps/covers." Unless you're buying more than what you need for one bench I'd just buy them from the Kamway/exercise-parts/wherever online that has the cheapest shipped price. In the case of bench feet the vinyl ones aren't the right choice for the job. I'd definitely go with the rubber ones.

https://kamway.com/products/rubber-end- ... quare-tube
Whenever I get some "scrap-grade" equipment from the used market I cannibalize all of the usable endcaps/rollers/odds and ends off it. I have a whole bin full of that stuff that comes in handy all the time.

Just ordered from kamway. I ordered 4. Just in case the others start cracking. Although I like mouses skateboard tape idea.murphyreedus wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 12:29 pm They're usually just called "Rubber end caps/covers."
