122.5kg to 125kg paused bench - 117.5kg/259lb current best. 115kg in meet
Increase squat 5kg for next meet - 190kg current best. - In training and in meet.

Okay, I'll play this time. Get the Master DL and Total records for Static Monsters. I don't know the World Championships ones, the ones on the site are 420 kg (926 lbs) and 570 kg (1257 lbs). I want at least a 440 kg pull, which puts me at a Log Press of more than 130kg to beat that total.

Edit : having typed the above, I see the 2021 results are either not included or were "World Championships" which they separate. To get those numbers I need to beat 431.73kg and 593.21kg. I on track for that DL, I believe, but the total maybe not. I doubt my Log Press will get me close enough to make up the difference on the DL. But maybe.

1: PR Bench and DL. I love squatting, but want to balance out my lifts with an eye towards maybe doing a meet mid-year.
2: Do some cardio on a regular basis. Despite having a complete hatred for it, probably needed for heart health.
3: Stretch 2-3x per week. I have a few joints where crap work posture, lifting and life has left me under normal ROM for me and I want to stretch and work them till I get back to normal, then stay there.

Finish leftover 2020 goals. Lose 120 lbs and bench 315 (I wanted 330 but I'll settle at this point.)

Squat and deadlift 500.
Press 225.
Front Squat 405.
Front squat 315 with a front rack instead of crossed arms.
Strict Curl 135.

So lose about 2-3 lbs a week, add 50 lbs to s/dl, 45 to press, 30 to front squat, start mobility work for front rack and figure out what my strict curl currently is.

Should be a fun and frustrating year.

Internal Goals
Train and eat consistently and intelligently in a way to facilitate strength (primary) and hypertrophy (secondary) gains.

External Goals
Be accused of taking steroids by a muggle.

I'll play

- Total 1543+lbs at 220 raw with wraps (personal all time is 1581 at 275)
- Stay at my current body composition or slightly better
- Stay under 220 lbs until end of August because that's when my next meet is
- get bench back to 336 lbs and deadlift back to 650 lbs. Squat hasn't dropped off as much if at all.

I didn't do so well with last year's goals #reasons...

I'm still after:

Squat - 182.5kg
Bench - 100kg
Deadlift - 230kg
Total - 500kg

...and I'd like to do it injury free, if that's not to much to ask, thank you very much!

2021 I wanted to find a good method of progression which I have done so I've got some modest goals for myself. My soft goals are to experiment a bit during the year. Get a respectable Front Squatting and maybe put Sumo in my next Base Phase to see what all the noise is about (still consider Conventional my main mover). Also want to eat healthier; been eating a lot of fast food and ice cream this last year and haven't even eaten a salad which I used to do every day in past summers.

Hard goals:
Squat 440 (200kg)
Bench 300 (300 club)
Deadlift 500 (500 club)
Press 185 (a plate and a quarter on the bar)

Latest 1RMs are...
Squat 415
Bench 270
Deadlift 482
Press 160

My deadlift is already 65lbs heavier this base phase than at this point back in the Spring so I should smash the 500 DL and my Squat goal is just 25 more lbs, but I think I'm going to try to focus more on my Bench and OHP this year as I continue to make up for lost time during my SS and Texas Method days.

Would like to get back to Snatch and Clean & Jerk, hopefully by mid January, then start loading and back to old working numbers maybe mid-end February. Then try to get the 115/137 weights I didn't hit this year.
Also similar to @5hout try to do regular cardio, maybe 2-3x a week for heart health.

Overarching goals are to stay consistent with my workouts throughout the year, get stronger, and avoid injury.

Specific goals for 2022:

1. Deadlift 455 lbs -- currently at 405 e1RM
2. SSB Squat 365 lbs -- currently at 315 e1RM
3. Bench 275 lbs -- currently at 245 e1RM
4. Get bodyweight <= 215 pounds -- currently at 235
5. Do more hiking in the mountains with some overnight backpacking

At least one of the following would be nice:

180kg high bar ATG squat
100kg clean and press
142.5kg bench (I did 140 like 3-4 years ago so there’s no way I’m going another year without a PR)
260kg deadlift

None of them are much higher than my current PRs because most of all I just want to be more athletic. Take up martial arts or a sport, do some regular cardio for the first time ever, jump, run, throw stuff etc. I’m 27 so it’s probably not too late to get semi good at something, whereas lifting seems to be something people enjoy forever.

Make some sort of bench gainz, even 5kg at this point.

Get closer to 100kg for PL weight class.

Total 1400lbs and deadlift 305kg.

Continue to learn non-PL stuff.

Same goals I've had for the past few years LOL
400lb bench - yah right
500 pound squat - just maybe:)
600 lb deadlift - no way
275 OH press - unlikely

More realistically:
Get rid of my stubborn belly fat - maybe, but that would mean giving up chocolate ice cream, ok forget it
Improve my cardio - Doable
Do lots of mountain biking - alright!

Well, seeing as I can almost squat normally again without my IT bands hurting for days, I'd love to get back on track and squat over 200kg in 2022 without needing to get too much bigger/fatter. I used to be good for 190 plus before the shenanigans started probably a year ago, but not now.

Other than that... eh, just to keep making some kinda progress would be absolutely fine with me. I might be close to a 300lb bench now, so let's just aim low and hope for a 140kg bench and 250kg deadlift next year. I don't think either of those are really that ambitious. Oh, and get more jacked, maybe get beach lean for summer. Originally I'd planned to do that this year, right about now, but I really don't want to diet and I'm not particularly fat anyway so eh, let's just eat the foods and keep training.

400 DOTS in a meet. Pretty simple. 384 is my best.

My main goals are to train consistently without injury (left knee is bothering me lately) and to quit eating like an idiot.

Numbers wise, would love to get something like this...
500 squat (current: 496 - so I guess I'm being conservative with that one...maybe 525?)
350 bench (currently @ 325)
600 DL (pulled 555 back in August, 551 more recently)
(Recent numbers are from Nov 13 meet)
Edit: a 1400 total at my May meet would be great.
I don't really have a press goal anymore. That lift hates me. hahaha

Not sure what impact the new weight classes for USAPL will have for state records, but I've been eyeing those as well for my age/weight class. That would be pretty cool.

Really sink my teeth into the RPE is Bullshit model of training and hit some PRs. It's been a while so I have, in fact, only been exercising and not actually training:

DL - 300 x 1 @ 8
SQ - 250 x 1 @ 8
BE - 175 x 1 @ 8
PR - 115 x 1 @ 8

I'm trying to learn how to use RPE too. I guess that's another goal.
