Bands, chains, wraps, straps, racks... are you sure this is training related?

That seems like too good of a deal. I was looking for a pair of uprights to make a storage tier for my 3x3 rack, and Titan wants $180 just for 2 scratch and dent uprights.

No kidding. That's not a terrible price for a stand-alone pull up bar.

Yeah, I imagine the steel alone (plus shipping) is pretty much at cost.

Heh. So I ordered this in the hopes of using the uprights for weight storage on my existing rack. Received one box with the gussets/j-cups/bolts on Wednesday. Received an email today from Synergee saying they oversold the racks, and wouldn't be shipping me the second box with the uprights/base. They'll either refund my money and I can keep the gussets/j-cups/bolts, or they'll send me a v1 rack.

If this was TItan, I'd fully expect to tell them to refund my money and then receive the second box anyway in a few weeks. We'll see what happens with Synergee.

My guess is that Synergee ordered as much as possible when everyone was crazy for gym equipment earlier in Covid, and now things are slowing down and excess inventory is sitting in warehouses and costing money. (I read this is what's going on now with patio furniture. Doesn't seem a stretch to think same could be true for gym equipment.)

I've been meaning to write this up for months. Anyway, I recently ordered a T-Bar Row machine from Titan. Love the machine, but Titan:

-overcharged me $50
-shipped the huge machine to the wrong address (same street, so sorted it out, but it's a massive box so was inconvenient)
-could not answer a simple assembly question when I called. Rather than forward my question to someone who knew or transfer me, they advised me to just hang up and keep calling and hope that I randomly got connected to someone who knew the answer, and to keep calling until this happened
-few other smaller issues that are annoying, not as grave as those already listed

I wondered if that would happen. Hard pass on the V1 rack..

LOL I've unofficially done this when I got an unhelpful CS rep but to have a company straight up tell you to is wild.
